There is no currently documented free claim for Lucy’s Fortnite outfit. Epic’s free route was the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Cup, where top players in each region and mode could earn the outfit. The listed event dates have passed, and Epic’s shop offer for the bundle has also ended. No future return date is confirmed in the official pages reviewed.
How the free Lucy outfit was earned
Fortnite lists Lucy’s outfit under its in-game name, Lucyna Kushinada. Epic’s documented free opportunity was the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Cup: players had to place high enough in their region and event format to win the outfit. It was a competitive prize, not a free login reward available to everyone. Epic’s official cup rules contain the full regional prize thresholds.

Who qualified for the tournament prize?
The placement cutoff depended on the region and mode, so there was no single rank that applied to every player. The 2026 rules list examples including:
| Region and format | Highest placement eligible for the outfit |
|---|---|
| EU Battle Royale | Top 350 |
| NAC Battle Royale | Top 240 |
| OCE Battle Royale | Top 30 |
| EU Solo Mobile | Top 200 |
| NAC Solo Mobile | Top 150 |
These are examples from that cup’s rules, not current entry requirements or universal cutoffs. The event included Trios Battle Royale, Trios Zero Build, and a Solo Mobile Cup, with separate regional thresholds. For any future competition, check the rules for your own region and format, and confirm eligibility and schedule in Fortnite’s in-game competitive interface. Epic’s rules say event dates and times can change, with final details shown in-game.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

Why you can’t enter this cup now
Epic’s official NAW event listing shows the cup ran September 19–20, 2026. Those dates are past as of October 5, 2026, so this tournament is no longer a way to earn the outfit. The official pages reviewed do not announce another cup or a future date for Lucy’s return.
Can you get Lucy from the Item Shop?
Epic’s listing for the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Bundle included Lucyna Kushinada and showed a discounted price of 2,300 V-Bucks, reduced from a listed original price of 3,800 V-Bucks. That offer ended September 26, 2026 at 12:00 AM local time. It is a historical listing, not evidence that the bundle can be bought now. Check the live in-game shop for any later return; no return date is confirmed in the cited listing. View Epic’s bundle listing.

Buying Cyberpunk 2077 does not unlock Lucy
Epic’s separate Cyberpunk 2077 promotion concerns Adam Smasher cosmetics, not Lucy. Epic says eligible purchases of Cyberpunk 2077 or Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition through the Epic Games Store grant Adam Smasher’s Outfit and Shoulder Cannon Back Bling. The support page also describes a 1,500 V-Bucks grant in the specific case where someone already owns Adam Smasher’s outfit and then makes an eligible game purchase. None of this promotion documents an unlock for Lucyna Kushinada. Read Epic’s promotion details.
