That tournament took place on September 20, 2026, so it is no longer an entry route. Epic’s official materials reviewed here do not confirm another current free claim method.
What the free route was
Epic listed the Champion Focus Outfit as a prize for players who finished within the qualifying placement cutoff in the Champion Focus FNCS Cup. The official rules were published September 17, 2026. The cutoff depended on the region and the competition session; it was not a single points target shared by every player. Read Epic’s official event rules.

Epic’s rules describe the Battle Royale and Zero Build sessions as Solo competitions, and the Mobile Cup used Solo Reload settings. The event listing dates the cup to September 20, 2026, and describes it as a Solo Battle Royale competition; consult the rules for the full mode and prize breakdown.

- Redemption: Online
Other cosmetic prizes had different requirements
The FNCS Fighter Back Bling and FNCS Coin Emoticon had point thresholds rather than the outfit’s placement cutoffs. The rules specify:
| Session | FNCS Fighter Back Bling | FNCS Coin Emoticon |
|---|---|---|
| Battle Royale and Zero Build | 40 points | 8 points |
| Mobile | 20 points | 5 points |
Meeting one of these point thresholds was not a substitute for reaching the outfit’s regional placement cutoff.

What qualifying players should do
If you believe you qualified, check the email address associated with the Epic account you used to compete, including spam or junk folders. Epic’s rules say potential winners are generally notified within 60 days after the relevant session, although Epic may reasonably require more time. After formal notification, a potential winner has 45 days to reply with requested verification information and a release. The account used to compete must remain active through verification. These are winner-verification steps, not a way to claim the outfit without qualifying. Epic’s rules explain the notification and verification process.

The September 20, 2026 cup has passed. The official event listing and rules establish that tournament as a free prize route, but do not confirm a current Item Shop offer, later giveaway, or other free claim method. Future availability is unconfirmed by those sources. Be cautious of sites or videos promising a guaranteed claim outside an official Epic announcement.
Rank #3
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
Entry requirements applied to the past event
For the cup, Epic stated that players had to be at least 13 years old—or meet the minimum age required in their country of residence—and have multifactor authentication (MFA) enabled. These were event eligibility requirements, not requirements for a current claim offer. See Epic’s event listing.
