A low-waste upgrade workflow

A modest improvement on a hero that participates in every attempt can be more useful to your immediate goal than a larger-looking improvement on a reserve hero. This is a decision rule based on opportunity cost, not a verified League of Grimm formula.
Test one composition change at a time
If you change faction membership, formation position, equipment, and a talent simultaneously, you cannot tell which change helped. Keep the rest of the squad constant, make one displayed change, and retry the same content. When the game’s screen does not identify a bonus, record the result as an observation from your account rather than a general rule.
Do not chase a faction label alone
Five factions do not, by themselves, prove that matching more members is always optimal. Before investing to complete a faction set, verify that the current screen displays a benefit and that the resulting heroes fit the objective you selected.

Make offline rewards part of your routine

Choose spending by mode without inventing a universal build

- Open the hero or item you intend to improve.
- Select the exact system and expand any requirement panel.
- Record every material, quantity, currency, prerequisite, and displayed result.
- Look for an information icon, rules page, or warning about replacement and refunds.
- Back out without confirming if the result or reversibility is unclear.
- Repeat the inspection on the alternative you are considering.
Take screenshots for your own comparison when the interface allows it. If a later update changes the labels or prices, make a new record instead of relying on an older note.
Version and stability cautions
Pocket Gamer’s October 12 review described the game as being in early access on Google Play at that time and reported tutorial glitches plus a crash in one battle. Those are dated observations, not proof of a current defect.
