Get Odyle from the Odyle Collection quest
The level 10 episode quest starts with Kaidros at Dawn Legion Base. The AION 2 Global database lists level 11 as the recommended level and was updated October 5, 2026, for version 2.0.5.0. Its recorded objectives are:

- Speak with Kaidros at Dawn Legion Base to start Odyle Collection.
- Meet Nania at Valley Outpost.
- Go to the Western Odyle Collector in Verteron and collect Odyle.
- Defeat the two Kalgolems listed in the quest objectives.
- Return and turn in the quest.
See the AION 2 Global Database quest entry for Odyle Collection. Objectives can change with updates, so follow the quest tracker if it differs from this record.
Gather Odyle at nodes
Use Essence Extraction on Odyle nodes for repeatable gathering. The gathering reference lists these areas:

Node grade determines which of four Odyle materials you collect. Check the current map or client for exact node positions and grades; the available references do not establish a dependable route or exact coordinates. A secondary guide says nodes float and recommends flying to them with Wing Energy, but confirm that this applies to your current location and client before relying on it.
Check events and other listed sources
Databases also list quests, missions, Shugo Festival activities, and field events as Odyle sources. AION2 Hub names Jump Jump, Wraith Evasion, Mysterious Track, Hidden Lugi, Odyle Flight Frenzy, Goldrin’s Treasure, Defend Shugo Merchants, Up! Up! Up!, and Not This Tile? These listings do not guarantee that an event is currently running or that it will award Odyle in every cycle. Check the live event panel and reward details in-game.

Know which Odyle item you need
Odyle is a level 15 crafting material used in crafting and Substance Morph, and its Global database entry marks it tradable. Odyle (Bound) is a separate item entry marked bound, with quest rewards and an achievement listed as sources. Do not assume the bound version can be traded or used wherever ordinary Odyle is accepted; verify the item name and recipe requirements in the client. “Odyle Energy” is a different term and the reviewed item references do not establish it as the same material.

Which route should you use?
- Need an initial supply? Start with Odyle Collection if you are on the Elyos route and meet the quest requirements.
- Need more after the quest? Gather at Odyle nodes with Essence Extraction, checking node grade and material type.
- Prefer activities over map gathering? Look for currently active events and inspect their rewards before investing time.
The quest and item details come from fan-made databases, while the event and node references are mutable community listings. Exact drop rates, current account limits, and live event schedules are not established by these records.
