For the most dependable alerts, set a reminder on the official event or ticket seller’s page, then add a backup: follow the artist, team, and venue in the relevant ticketing app and subscribe to their official email lists. For Ticketmaster events, the company says a set reminder triggers a text one hour before the sale with a direct link. Presale alerts and eligibility vary by event, so check the event’s own instructions too.
Set a reminder on the official event page
- Find the event on the ticket seller named by the organizer, or start from the artist’s, team’s, or venue’s official site. Confirm the date, time, and time zone on the event page; a listing may use the venue’s local time.
- Sign in to the ticketing account you plan to use to buy tickets.
- Open the relevant event and select the specific show or sale you want to track. If a reminder option is available, set it and verify the page shows that the reminder is active.
- Keep the event page or official seller link somewhere easy to reach. A reminder is a prompt, not a reservation or guarantee of admission.
Ticketmaster reminders
For an event with the option, Ticketmaster’s documented flow is to sign in, open the event, choose the relevant show, and select SET REMINDER next to the sale. Confirm that the control changes to REMINDER SET. Ticketmaster says it sends a text one hour before tickets go on sale and includes a direct link to the sale page. This is an event-specific sale reminder, not simply an alert that a performer has announced a show. Availability can depend on the event.

Add backup alerts from the artist, venue, and ticketing app
One service may not list every event or offer every type of alert. For a high-priority sale, use more than one channel:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Follow the artist, team, and venue: Ticketmaster’s app supports adding performers, teams, and venues to Watchlist → Favorites. Account alert preferences can also be managed in Ticketmaster.
- Join official mailing lists: Subscribe through the artist’s and venue’s official sites, and follow their official social accounts. These channels can announce newly added dates, presales, or changes that an event reminder alone may not cover.
- Check the organizer’s sale instructions: Promoters, fan clubs, teams, radio stations, sponsors, and customer-offer programs may be involved in presales. The relevant route and requirements are event-specific.
- Consider a discovery service as an extra channel: Bandsintown offers email and in-app on-sale reminders for listed events when the artist or organizer enables the notification option. Its help documentation says the displayed on-sale time uses the venue’s time zone.
Get presale alerts and find the right access route
A presale is an opportunity to buy before the general sale; it is not a promise that tickets will be available to you or that you will secure one. Some presales require advance registration, some require a code, and some are available through a membership or partner. Not every event has a presale.

Check the event’s presale instructions first
Look at the event page and the artist’s, venue’s, team’s, or promoter’s official announcements. Follow the signup instructions and note the registration deadline, presale start time, eligibility requirements, and where a code will be sent or displayed. A code for one presale should not be assumed to work for another.
Live Nation and Ticketmaster
For the documented Live Nation All Access route, members can access Live Nation presales on Ticketmaster without entering a code when signed in to Ticketmaster with the same email address used for the membership. For other ticketing sites, Live Nation says the code appears on the Live Nation event page at presale time. Check the particular event’s instructions because the route differs.

Bandsintown presale alerts
Bandsintown documents an artist presale signup flow that can email an alert shortly before the presale begins. Its help documentation says SMS alerts are currently available for U.S. and Canadian phone numbers. The event must be listed and configured by the artist or organizer, so this is an additional channel rather than a universal event feed.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsKeep the sale time and purchase page ready
- Write down the sale time with its time zone, especially if the event is in another city. For Bandsintown listings, the documented time is the venue’s local time.
- Save the official seller’s event link separately from notification emails or app alerts.
- For an important sale, use an event-specific reminder plus at least one direct artist, venue, or organizer channel.
- Check whether the alert is for a presale or the general sale; they may have different start times and access requirements.
- Do not treat a presale code or membership as a ticket. Access does not guarantee inventory or a successful purchase.
Troubleshoot missing or confusing alerts
The reminder option is missing
Not every event supports a reminder on every platform. Check the organizer’s official event page and the seller named there, then follow the artist or venue and join its mailing list as a backup.
Rank #3
You set a Ticketmaster reminder but cannot see that it is active
Return to the event and check that the control reads REMINDER SET. Make sure you are signed into the account where you set it and selected the intended show and sale.
A presale code has not arrived
Recheck the event’s signup route and delivery instructions, including which account or email address you used. Some routes provide a code on an event page rather than by email. If the event specifies a membership-based no-code route, confirm that your Ticketmaster sign-in email matches the membership email.

Bandsintown still shows “Set Reminder” after the sale starts
Bandsintown’s help page warns that its Tickets button can take two to four hours to replace Set Reminder after a sale begins. Do not use that label as your only indication of whether the seller’s sale is live; check the official seller page directly.
An alert arrived late or did not arrive
Notification timing and coverage can vary, and official help documentation does not establish a universal delivery guarantee or comparative reliability ranking. Keep the official event link and use a second alert channel for a sale you do not want to miss.
