To get more Wishing Stars, make residents’ wishes and Resident Requests your regular priority. For Moonlight Crystals, check Guild sign-ins and GAMG membership benefits, then look for limited-time Event-page or mailbox rewards. Heart Diamonds may also be exchangeable for crystals, but check the current in-game store rate before spending. Codes and event gifts expire, so treat them as occasional bonuses rather than dependable income.
How to earn Wishing Stars
Fulfill residents’ wishes and requests
Residents’ wishes or Resident Requests are the clearest repeatable route identified for Wishing Stars. Check for available requests as part of your regular play and complete them when you want this currency. Heartopia.guide’s currency guide and a currency list last updated July 8, 2026 both identify resident wishes or requests as a source.

Check occasional sign-in, social, and promotional rewards
A fan guide also lists sign-in events, social-account linking, and redeem codes as possible Wishing Star sources. These are patch-sensitive opportunities, not guaranteed recurring payouts; check the current in-game pages and official announcements rather than relying on an old code list. Heartopia Guide’s August 22, 2026 currency guide describes these additional routes.
Some promotional rewards require a separate claim. For example, a past login-gift event required players to claim through the Event page; logging in alone was not enough. Its claim period ended August 29, 2026, so it is an example of how to collect a reward, not an active offer. See the event guide for the recorded event details.

Check Guild sign-ins and GAMG membership benefits
Currency guides list Guild sign-in rewards and GAMG membership benefits as possible Moonlight Crystal sources. The precise reward and eligibility can depend on the current patch or membership terms, so inspect the reward screen and current terms in-game. A separate fan guide also reports small free amounts through Guild sign-ins and the Gilded Acorn Merchant; treat those as guide-reported possibilities rather than guaranteed rewards. Look for event and mailbox gifts
Limited-time events and gifts can include Moonlight Crystals. Check the live Event page and your mailbox while an offer is running, and claim rewards before their stated deadline. A recorded thank-you login reward included crystals, but its claim period ended August 29, 2026; it should not be treated as available now. The event guide documents the expired offer.

Check official announcements for current codes
Promo codes may award either currency, but their validity and rewards change. No current code-and-reward combination is established here, so do not assume codes copied from a tracker still work. Check official Heartopia announcements and confirm a code in-game before counting on it. XD Games has also used Wishing Stars as a one-time promotional reward: its team event offered Wishing Star ×10 for a qualifying team milestone during July 9–August 3, 2026 (UTC−5). That event has ended and does not establish a permanent reward. See the official team-event page.
Keep currency rewards separate from event tokens
Moonlight Crystals and Wishing Stars are not interchangeable with event-only tokens. Check the reward’s name and the event’s claim window before planning around it: a temporary token or expired gift is not a dependable source of either currency.
