Where to find Irisalis Petals
Open the Iris Companion stage of the Legendary Journey event and select How to Obtain. That in-game panel is the practical source of truth for which activities currently award petals and which ones remain available to you. A MOANIIMO guide reports that the panel shows source amounts, maximums, repeat status, and completion status, so check it rather than relying on an old checklist.

The official event notice confirms at least one newly introduced weekly-limited Iris Petal source, but it does not publish a complete list of activities, task names, quantities, or map coordinates. A separate location guide reports categories such as open-world pickups, Alpha first clears, collection badges, and other activities; treat those as guide-reported leads and confirm each one in the event panel. A static list cannot be presented as a definitive set of all locations.

Secondary guides describe a mix of weekly repeatable sources and permanent tasks. In the event panel, check both whether an activity can be repeated and whether you have reached its maximum. Prioritize unfinished eligible activities shown there, and revisit weekly-limited sources when they reset.

How to unlock Irisalis
- Reach Student I. This is the stated requirement for the Iris Companion stage.
- Open the event stage. Go to Legendary Journey: Windchaser’s Departure—Iris Companion and inspect How to Obtain for the available Iris Petal activities and your completion status.
- Collect the required petals. Follow the in-game checklist. The official notice says you need a required number but does not specify the total; a third-party guide’s reported total should not be treated as an official requirement.
- Craft Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis. The official update says that successfully crafting this pod unlocks the Rift Space where Irisalis resides.
- Enter the Rift Space and befriend Irisalis. Befriending it unlocks its exclusive Transmog ability.
Which Aniipod should you craft?
| Pod | Purpose stated in the update |
|---|---|
| Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis | Unlocks Irisalis’s Rift Space after successful crafting. |
| Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser’s Departure | Guarantees capture and specified seasonal perks for the Aniimo captured with it. |
These pods serve different purposes: the Irisalis pod opens the route to its Rift Space, while Windchaser’s Departure is the capture pod described with seasonal perks. Do not substitute one for the other when following the Irisalis unlock route.

Sources and details the game does not specify publicly
The official update confirms the Student I requirement, a weekly-limited petal source, the Irisalis pod’s Rift Space effect, and the separate Windchaser’s Departure pod purpose. It does not give the exact Iris Petal cost or a complete source list. For current tasks and progress, use the event’s How to Obtain panel; treat quantities and location categories from third-party guides as unconfirmed unless the game displays them.
