1. Search Pumpkin chests first
Make Pumpkin chests your priority when landing in Battle Royale during the active Fortnitemares content. Current reporting identifies them as the strongest route for finding Honey Sprite. Open every Pumpkin chest you encounter rather than relying on one specific named location.

2. Search ordinary chests
Regular chests are a secondary source. Check them as you rotate through a landing area, especially after you have cleared nearby Pumpkin chests. A normal chest can still produce the Sprite, but it is not reported as the preferred method.
3. Smash Pumpkins
Break Pumpkin objects and inspect the loot they release. This is a world-object route rather than a chest route, so it is useful when a landing area has few containers or when you are already moving through a seasonal zone.

4. Use an eligible Cheat Code

Does Honey Sprite have a fixed location?
No authoritative source establishes a permanent Honey Sprite coordinate or a single guaranteed point of interest. Fortnite’s seasonal loot and object placement can change with updates and event rotations. A match in which you fail to find the Sprite does not prove it has been removed; it may simply not have appeared in that match’s available loot.

For the same reason, landing on one location repeatedly is not a reliable farming strategy unless the live game clearly marks that area with Pumpkin chests or another active source. Treat locations as temporary loot opportunities, not permanent spawn points.
What Honey Sprite does
Honey Sprite gives you a chance to spawn bees at the location where your ranged-weapon shot hits an enemy or other target. The effect is chance-based, and the available reporting does not provide a numerical probability. You should therefore treat bee generation as an additional combat effect rather than a guaranteed result on every shot.

Using the effect in a fight
- Equip a ranged weapon after obtaining Honey Sprite.
- Deal damage and watch the hit location for the bee-spawn effect.
- Do not assume every ranged hit will create bees, because no published percentage confirms a guaranteed trigger.
- Use the effect as an opportunity during engagements, not as a replacement for normal weapon damage or positioning.
A practical match-by-match checklist
- Confirm that Fortnitemares 2026 content and the v42.40 seasonal loot rotation are active in your selected playlist.
- Land where you can reach multiple containers, and prioritize Pumpkin chests over ordinary chests.
- Open ordinary chests while clearing the same route.
- Smash visible Pumpkins and check all resulting loot before rotating.

- If Honey Sprite does not appear, continue normal looting in later matches instead of assuming a fixed location or guaranteed chest.
