Which camera should I use on the OPPO F35 Pro?
Choose based on what needs to fit in the frame and whether the subject is moving. OPPO lists a 50MP autofocus main rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and two-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera with a 116° field of view, and a 50MP front camera with a 100° field of view. The main camera is the practical default; the wider cameras trade a more expansive view for more perspective distortion toward the edges.

These are specification values and practical starting points, not comparative test results. OPPO lists Photo, Portrait, Night, Panorama, HI-RES, and PRO among the camera modes, but its published specifications do not establish that HI-RES will look better than standard Photo or document PRO controls.
How can I improve everyday photos?
- Start with the main rear camera for a straightforward view of the scene. If the camera interface offers focus control, tap the subject you want in focus.
- Hold the phone securely and check the frame edges for distracting objects before taking the picture.
- When safe and practical, move closer rather than relying on heavy digital zoom or a large crop.
- For a subject that is moving, take more than one frame and check which is sharpest. OIS can help with phone movement, but it cannot prevent blur caused by subject movement.
When should I switch to ultra-wide?
Use the rear ultra-wide when stepping back is impractical or when the surroundings matter as much as the subject. Its listed 116° field of view covers more of a scene than the main camera’s 79°. Keep important faces closer to the center, where wide-angle stretching is less noticeable, and level the phone if you want walls or buildings to look straight.

For a group selfie, try the front camera’s listed 100° field of view when you need to include more people or background. Check that faces are comfortably inside the frame rather than crowded against its edges.
How do I take better portraits?
Try Portrait mode when you want a person to stand out from a softened background. OPPO advertises a new Portrait Mode, but does not publish a universal ideal distance or a precise control sequence in the available product information.

- Frame the person so the face and shoulders are clear.
- Check the preview around hair, glasses, shoulders, and other fine boundaries.
- After capture, inspect those edges. If the blur or subject outline looks artificial, retake in ordinary Photo mode or change the framing.
How do I take better low-light photos, and what does Night mode do?
OPPO lists Night mode, but its specifications do not state an exposure duration or guarantee a particular improvement. For a dim, stationary scene, try Night mode and brace the phone against a stable surface if possible. Keep it still during capture. With moving people or pets, take several shots and select the sharpest: even a steady phone cannot prevent motion blur in the subject.

Both modes are listed for the F35 Pro, but the published specifications do not explain their controls or show that either mode produces a visibly better result in a given situation. Use standard Photo as your uncomplicated starting point. If you experiment with HI-RES or PRO, compare the resulting image with a standard Photo shot of the same scene rather than assuming the mode name guarantees more useful detail.

Which video settings should I choose?
OPPO lists rear-camera recording at 4K/30 fps and 1080p/30 or 60 fps. It also lists EIS/OIS video options at the stated frame rates. Choose an option available in the camera interface, hold a stable stance, and avoid abrupt pans. These listed formats do not establish a measured level of stabilization or a best setting for every scene.

OPPO advertises Portrait Glow, Eraser, Clarity Enhancer, Unblur, and Reflection Remover. Depending on what is available on your device, these may help adjust portrait lighting, remove an unwanted element, address a slightly soft image, enhance detail after cropping, or remove reflections through glass. Inspect generated fills and other edits closely, compare the result with the original, and keep an unedited copy when the photo matters. OPPO says, “Software features and availability may vary by region and software version.”
