If you’re asking “where is the Furnace?” in Stardew Valley, you don’t find it in a fixed spot: you unlock its recipe from Clint, then craft it. Collect at least one Copper Ore, leave your farmhouse the following morning between 6:00 and 11:30 a.m. to trigger Clint’s cutscene, and craft the Furnace with 25 Stone and 20 Copper Ore.

How to unlock the Furnace recipe

  1. Collect at least one Copper Ore. Ore from any source can count, including fishing treasure or a purchase from Clint.

  2. The next morning, leave your farmhouse between 6:00 and 11:30 a.m. Clint’s cutscene gives you the Furnace blueprint. If you have not met him yet, the scene also introduces him.

  3. Open the crafting menu and make the Furnace using 25 Stone and 20 Copper Ore.

Other ways to obtain a Furnace

You can receive a Furnace as a reward for completing the Blacksmith’s Bundle. In remixed bundles, the Engineer’s Bundle can award one instead. These are alternatives to crafting it after Clint’s cutscene; the bundle route depends on completing the relevant bundle.

A Heavy Furnace is a later option unlocked through Mining Mastery, not an early-game way to find the standard Furnace. It processes 25 ore using three Coal per operation. See the Heavy Furnace page for details.
