The simplest way to get an Armenian IP address from abroad is to connect to a VPN app that offers an Armenia location. Choose the location, connect, then verify the IP’s reported country and test the specific website or app you need. An Armenia label does not guarantee that a server is physically in Armenia—or that a bank, streaming service, or account provider will accept the connection.
Choose the right way to get an Armenian IP
These options serve different needs. A VPN changes the apparent source of your internet traffic; a carrier static IP and IP address allocation are not substitutes for a consumer VPN.

| Option | What it does | Setup and caveat | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| VPN app with an Armenia location | Routes your device’s internet traffic through a provider endpoint that presents an Armenian IP. | Install the app, select Armenia and connect. The endpoint may be a virtual location hosted outside Armenia. | People who want a relatively simple general-purpose route. |
| Armenia-hosted VPS with a self-managed VPN | Provides a server and Armenian IP that you can configure as a VPN endpoint. | Rent and administer the server, install and secure VPN software, and maintain it. Confirm the server and IP location with the host. | Technically experienced users who want more control. |
| Carrier static public IP | Can make an eligible mobile-data device reachable from outside. | Requires carrier activation and compatible service. It does not automatically route your remote device’s general browsing through Armenia. | People who need inbound access to their own device. |
| IP address allocation | Provides or registers address resources for network operations. | Requires organizational registration and network administration; it is not a consumer VPN subscription. | Organizations and network operators. |

Its page lists plans starting at 9,600 AMD per month with one dedicated IP, and an additional dedicated IP at 1,200 AMD per month. The provider’s listed terms can change. Review WEB LLC’s VPS plans.

Viva describes a static public IP for a device using its mobile data card, activated at a service center for eligible postpaid plans. Its page lists free activation and a monthly fee of 500 AMD including VAT. This is described as making the device accessible remotely, not as routing a traveler’s unrelated browsing through Armenia. Confirm current eligibility and device compatibility with Viva. See Viva’s Real IP service.
IP allocation for network operators
WEB LLC says it is authorized by RIPE NCC as a local internet registry to assign IPv4 and IPv6 address space. Its page lists 120 AMD per IP per month and a RIPE registration charge of 120,000 AMD per request. This is for network administration, not ordinary VPN use. How to choose a VPN
- Physical server location: Ask whether the endpoint is physically in Armenia or is a virtual location. REG.AM says its servers are in Armenia, while PIA says its Armenian virtual servers are physically in the Netherlands.
- Shared or dedicated IP: Shared addresses are used by multiple customers; a dedicated address may be offered separately and is not available in every country. An address’s reputation can affect whether a site challenges or blocks a login.
- Devices and protocols: Check current app support, protocol options, and simultaneous-device limits against your needs. A provider’s protocol list is not an independent security evaluation.
- Your destination service: A location-matching IP may still trigger extra checks or be rejected. Review the service’s access rules and test the specific site or app; a VPN does not establish identity, residency, or account eligibility.
- Full cost and upkeep: Compare recurring charges and any dedicated-IP add-on. A VPS also requires configuration, security updates, and troubleshooting.
Connect and verify an Armenian IP
- Check availability first: Confirm that Armenia appears in the provider’s current server list and check whether the location is physical or virtual.
- Install the official app: Subscribe only after confirming availability, then download the VPN provider’s official app for your device.
- Connect to Armenia: Open the location list, select Armenia, and connect.
- Check the resulting IP: Use a reputable IP lookup to see what country the address reports. Geolocation databases can differ, so treat this as a check rather than a guarantee.
- Test the service you need: Try the specific website or app and consult its access rules. A provider’s country label alone does not ensure acceptance.
For a VPS, confirm the host’s current location and IP allocation, provision the server, configure and secure VPN software, then test the connection for DNS or traffic leaks. Buying the VPS alone will not route your device through it.
