How many achievements are there?
Epic Games Store lists 23 achievements for its Windows version of The Sinking City 2, worth 1,000 XP in total. Some platform lists may hide achievements until they are unlocked, and storefronts can call these goals “achievements” or “trophies.” The names and conditions below are based on Epic’s listing, cross-checked against public trophy lists; trophy-tier values can vary by platform.

Epic’s displayed unlock rates, accessed October 7, 2026, show 10% for Behind Every Crate Man…, 9% for Mycophile, 1% for What Dreams Are Made Of, and 0.6% for For Her. These are live platform snapshots, not measures of difficulty, required time, or a guaranteed completion rate.

Keep a same-run checklist for broadcasts and crates
Mycophile requires listening to every Mushroom Jack broadcast in one playthrough. Behind Every Crate Man… requires unlocking every Emergency Relief Crate in one playthrough; DLC crates do not count. Mark each one off as you encounter it, and check the current area before moving on. The published achievement descriptions do not give universal cutoff chapters or confirm that New Game Plus or another cleanup option restores a missed broadcast or crate.
Investigate optional cases as you find them
Eight achievements come from optional investigations. Epic’s official game listing says optional cases do not gate story progress, but can unlock safer routes, supplies, and upgrades. Completing them as they appear is a practical way to avoid leaving investigation achievements behind while also gaining potential survival benefits.
Pick up weapons and develop Talents
Four achievements trigger when you obtain named weapons. Another requires all Talents. The public achievement descriptions confirm the goals but do not provide a complete official weapon or Talent route, so use the in-game menus and achievement list to track what remains.

Which route makes sense?
Completion-focused run
Take optional investigations as they appear, collect the weapons when available, and track Talents, broadcasts, and crates as you progress. This approach best addresses the achievements whose descriptions explicitly require one playthrough, though the listings do not specify every point of no return.
Story-first run with later cleanup
If you would rather focus on the story, expect to check the achievement list afterward. Third-party trophy lists associate From Oblivion with New Game Plus, but the available descriptions do not establish its precise requirements, what carries over, or whether a missed one-run objective can be recovered. Check your platform’s live list and the game’s own New Game Plus information before relying on a cleanup run.

The published conditions identify the required outcomes, not a verified step-by-step puzzle guide, exact chapter deadlines, or universal recovery rules.
