To forward incoming calls when your Samsung phone line is busy, open Phone > More options (three dots) > Settings > Supplementary services > Call forwarding. Choose the correct SIM if prompted, select Voice calls if it appears, then choose Forward when busy, enter the destination number and tap Enable. The carrier must support call forwarding on that line, and menus can vary by model, software version and region.

If you use a dual-SIM phone, select the SIM or line whose calls you want to forward.

If the phone asks which call type to configure, choose Voice calls.

Tap Forward when busy.

Enter the destination number, or choose a contact, and tap Enable.

Samsung documents this route and the busy-call option in its Galaxy calling-features guidance. Samsung’s Philippines instructions and Saudi Arabia instructions describe selecting a SIM and Voice calls where prompted, then enabling the selected rule.

Samsung lists four distinct call-forwarding conditions. Choose Forward when busy for the busy-line condition; Always forward redirects calls without limiting forwarding to that condition.

Open Forward when busy and tap Disable.

If setup is missing or fails

No Call forwarding option or an activation error: Availability depends on the carrier and phone model. Samsung’s Russia support guidance describes forwarding as a carrier service that must be supported by the plan. Ask your carrier whether the feature is enabled for your line and which activation method applies.

Two SIMs are installed: Check that you selected the line you intend to configure, and ask the carrier about support for that specific line.

The labels differ: Samsung notes that instructions can vary by model and software version; regional guidance can differ too. Look for the call-forwarding controls under Phone settings or consult Samsung support for your device.

A number is already filled in or cannot be removed: Samsung Russia notes that voicemail or a caller-notification service may occupy the number field in some cases. That explanation is specific to its regional guidance; contact your carrier to find out what is configured on your line.
