Start with the symptom, not a random reset. If an owned game is missing from the library
Check Ready to install on Xbox One
- From the Xbox dashboard, open My games & apps.
- Open Ready to install.
- Look for the owned game or app in that list and start the installation from there.
Microsoft specifically identifies this location for an Xbox One game or app that is not visible. This is the right first check when the title is absent from your installed list; repeatedly searching for an update will not help if the console does not currently show the title as installed.
If the title is not listed, preserve the exact result when contacting support: the game name, console generation, whether the purchase was digital or the copy is on disc, and the account context in which you expected it to appear. A game that appears in the library but is not playable because an update will not complete is a different branch. In that situation, capture the update message and progress state, then use Xbox Support’s installation-problems page rather than treating the title as simply missing.
If Xbox reports that the game or app is incompatible
Verify the supported version in the Microsoft Store

If a disc installation stops at 0%
Use the exact disc-specific support article

The support site can revise its instructions and present different steps by console generation. When several games or apps fail
