If your Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro earbuds won’t pair, remove the old Bluetooth connection, reset the earbuds using the case button, then pair them again. Soundcore’s model-specific reset requires both earbuds inside the open case; the case screen should show that both are charging before you begin.
Reset and pair the earbuds again
- Clear the old Bluetooth connection. Restart your phone, tablet, or computer. Open its Bluetooth settings, forget or remove any saved Liberty 5 Pro pairing, then turn Bluetooth off temporarily. Soundcore recommends this before retrying the connection (Soundcore connection troubleshooting).
- Charge and seat both earbuds. Put both earbuds in the charging case and leave the lid open. Check the display for a charging icon for both the left and right earbuds. If either icon is missing, reseat that earbud and check that it is making contact before proceeding.
- Reset the earbuds. Hold the button on the back of the case for 10 seconds. Wait until the screen displays “Resetting…” and returns to the home screen.
- Pair from the device’s Bluetooth settings. Turn Bluetooth back on and select “soundcore Liberty 5 Pro” from the available devices. If prompted to confirm pairing, tap “Pair.” If you previously tapped “Cancel,” toggle Bluetooth off and on, then try again.
Soundcore’s reset instructions specify the case button, a 10-second hold, and the “Resetting…” screen; they do not describe a separate reset procedure for earbuds that fail to make contact in the case (Soundcore connection troubleshooting).

Find out whether the problem is the earbuds or your device
If pairing still fails, try connecting the earbuds to a second phone or tablet. This is a diagnostic check, not a guaranteed fix. If they connect to the second device, investigate the original device’s saved Bluetooth record or settings. If they fail on both devices after the reset—and the case recognizes both earbuds—contact Soundcore for model-specific diagnosis rather than assuming a hardware fault.

Bluetooth pairing and app discovery are separate steps. First pair the Liberty 5 Pro with a phone through its Bluetooth settings. Then open the Soundcore app and choose Add Device. If automatic discovery does not work, choose Set up Manually > Liberty > soundcore Liberty 5 Pro (Soundcore app connection instructions).

- Disconnect other Bluetooth devices while setting up the earbuds.
- Close the Soundcore app on another phone that may already be connected to the earbuds.
- Reinstall the app if discovery still fails.
- The Soundcore app is not supported on computers, and iOS versions below 13 do not support the Liberty 5 Pro.
