Watch several waves, change one thing at a time, and return to the last node that clears reliably if deaths or stalls rise. There is no established universal level-15 XP wall or official numerical definition of a stalled run.
Check what is actually slowing the run
Watch several waves rather than judging the run by one clear. Check whether your Monk survives elites and the local boss without manual rescue, whether enemies are dying at a useful pace, and whether carriage capacity or inventory handling cuts into the idle window. These are practical checks, not official stall thresholds; the community’s beginner advice is to farm the highest node you can clear reliably. Beginner guide

- Deaths or revives: treat survival as the likely bottleneck.
- Few deaths but slow clears: review active skills and build synergy.
- Run stops or loses idle time: check node completion, auto-retry, carriage capacity, and inventory interruptions.

Choose a stable node before pushing higher
A higher node is not automatically a better farm. Push one node at a time and observe multiple waves, including elites and the local boss. If deaths or stalls increase sharply, return to the last node that cleared reliably. No source establishes a universal optimal node or a numerical threshold for a stalled run, so judge the result by your own run rather than an assumed cutoff.

If kills are slow, check Monk skill synergy
A fan-made Hundred Hands build guide describes a physical-damage direction built around Dodge Chance, rapid basic attacks, Furious Fist stacks, Mirror Steps’ post-dodge damage, and Zephyr’s Flow for mana recovery. It recommends reaching Mirror Steps, then establishing Zephyr’s Flow, rather than spreading early points diffusely across Dodge and Physical Damage. A separate community leveling guide places Furious Fist at level 15 and Piercing Lunge at level 20, with later skills at further milestones. It advises adjusting active skills for the zone. If deaths are the problem, account for ground damage
Dodge can help avoid direct attacks and support damage or mana synergies, but it does not prevent persistent poison or lingering area effects from damaging you. If those hazards are causing deaths, consider more health or resistance, and use movement and positioning to get out of dangerous areas. Deskrawl Patch 1.0.0h, dated 1 October 2026, changed several Monk abilities and fixed some Paragon experience values that had been too low. If your slowdown involves Paragon XP or one of the affected skills, compare your experience on the current version before concluding that your save is broken. The patch notes say:

Compare farms or builds with a controlled test
When choosing between two nodes or build configurations, run equal-duration sessions on the same game version. Track XP gained, kill pace, deaths or revives, and time lost to a full carriage or inventory management. The sources do not publish a standardized benchmark, so these are practical measures for comparing your own runs—not official thresholds. A third-party leveling guide lists Furious Fist as a level-15 skill milestone, but the available sources do not establish that XP universally slows after level 15. Separate skill unlock timing from XP gain: check your node, clear speed, survival, current patch, and idle interruptions before attributing a slowdown to your level.
