Check each category rather than judging the computer by one part. A 32-bit Windows installation, less than 25 GB free, or graphics hardware below the listed minimum can prevent the game from working, but the listing does not establish a specific failure message for under-spec systems. Treat a shortfall as a possible incompatibility, not as proof of the cause.
How to check the main specifications in Windows
- Open Settings > System > About to see the Windows edition, system type, processor and installed RAM.
- Open Settings > System > Storage and confirm that the drive containing the Steam library has at least 25 GB free.

The following procedure starts with reversible checks and moves toward error-specific recovery. Restart ROCKBEASTS after each major step so you can tell which change affected the result. Avoid changing several unrelated settings at once: if the game starts, you want to know which action mattered.
1. Restart Windows and try a clean launch

3. Verify the installed game files
Corrupted or incomplete extracted files can stop a Steam game from launching. Steam can reacquire files that are missing or damaged.
- Open Steam > Library.
- Right-click ROCKBEASTS and choose Properties.
- Open Installed Files.

Fix “Missing Executable” safely
Steam says antivirus software can mistakenly quarantine a game file, producing a “Missing Executable” error. Check the security product’s quarantine or threat history first.
- Open the antivirus or Windows security application you normally use.
- Review its Quarantine, Protection history or equivalent area for a ROCKBEASTS file.

- Restart Windows.
