Check the purchasing PSN account and transaction first, then restore licenses before attempting a reinstall. The sequence below covers digital and disc copies, including Deluxe Edition Content.
What “missing DLC” usually means
Jurassic World Evolution 2 add-ons are tied to a PlayStation Network (PSN) entitlement. The game can be installed correctly while the entitlement is attached to a different account, still waiting to download, blocked by a region mismatch, or not being read from the console’s current license cache. In those cases, the base game launches normally but the dinosaurs, skins, signs, or other pack content does not appear.

Start with account and license checks. Deleting the game is a later step because an application reinstall cannot correct a purchase made on the wrong account or a disc and DLC bought for different regions.

Use the distinctions below to choose the shortest path. You can have more than one condition at the same time, such as a physical disc from one country and a PSN account registered in another.

1. Confirm the purchase and the PSN account
First prove that the add-on purchase completed and determine which account owns it. A PS5 can have several user profiles, but the entitlement belongs to the PSN account that paid for the DLC.
- Sign in to the PSN account you believe bought the Jurassic World Evolution 2 add-on.
- Open that account’s transaction history and locate the DLC purchase. Confirm that it is completed rather than canceled, pending, or refunded.
- If the transaction is missing, check the other PSN accounts used on the console. Do not assume that the profile currently launching the game is the purchasing profile.
- With the purchasing account active, highlight Jurassic World Evolution 2 on the Home screen or in Game Library and inspect its download controls and Manage Game Content area.
A transaction that appears only on another family member’s account explains why the game profile reports ownership incorrectly. Test the purchasing account first; this avoids changing the installation when the entitlement is simply being checked under the wrong login.
2. Restore PS5 licenses
License restoration is the recommended next move when a game or add-on was purchased but cannot be located. On the PS5, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses, choose Restore, and wait for the process to finish.
Restart Jurassic World Evolution 2 after the restore and check the game’s DLC or content screen. Sony Interactive Entertainment states: “Please note, restoring licenses won’t affect your data.” The operation refreshes entitlement information without deleting saved games or installed applications.

Restore licenses while signed in to the account that owns the DLC. Running the same menu from a non-purchasing account will not transfer ownership to that account.
3. Check Manage Game Content and redownload the add-on
After the license refresh, inspect the add-on’s installation state rather than relying only on the in-game menu.
- Highlight Jurassic World Evolution 2 on the Home screen or in Game Library.
- Press the Options button on the controller.
- Open Manage Game Content or the available download controls.
- Look for the purchased add-on. If it is listed as incomplete or waiting, start the download and allow it to finish before launching the game.
- If the add-on entry is stuck, remove that add-on entry only, then download it again from the same controls.
- Launch the game and open its DLC, additional content, or content-management screen to verify that the pack is recognized.
Not every entitlement appears as a large, separate download. Some DLC is license-based and becomes available after the account and license are refreshed. In that situation, the absence of a sizable download does not by itself mean the purchase failed; verify the content from inside Jurassic World Evolution 2.
4. Verify physical-disc and account regions
Region compatibility is critical when the base game is a physical PS5 disc. Compare the country or region printed on the disc or its case with the country or region of the PSN account and the store where the DLC was purchased.

- A disc bought in one market can be paired with an account registered in another market.
- The add-on may be owned by the account but still fail to function with a disc from a different region.
- Buying DLC through a different regional storefront does not change the region of an existing disc.
PlayStation’s add-on guidance says the disc and account region must match for DLC to work. Check this before reinstalling. If the disc, account, and add-on markets do not align, use a matching-region game copy and DLC or ask PlayStation Support about the region-specific entitlement; changing console settings alone does not convert the purchase.
For a digital copy, the relevant region is the PSN account and storefront used for the purchase. There is no physical disc region to compare, but the same account requirement still applies.
5. Power-cycle the PS5 to clear its temporary cache
A full shutdown can clear temporary data that prevents a recognized entitlement from appearing. This is different from putting the console into Rest Mode.

- Turn off the PlayStation completely. Frontier’s console guidance says: “Turn off your PlayStation, do not enter rest mode.”
- Wait until the indicator light has stopped blinking and the console is completely off.
- Unplug the power cord.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and start the PS5 normally.
- Launch Jurassic World Evolution 2 and check the DLC or content screen again.
Use this sequence after restoring licenses and checking the download state. It does not remove saved data, installed games, or purchased entitlements; it only ensures that the next launch reads fresh temporary system data.

6. Reinstall the game only after account and license checks
If the transaction, account, region, license, and download checks all pass but the add-on remains unavailable, reinstall the Jurassic World Evolution 2 application. Frontier recommends reinstalling for continuing console problems, but it should not be the first response.
- Confirm that saved data is backed up or synchronized before deleting the application.
- Delete the Jurassic World Evolution 2 application from the PS5. Remove the application itself, not the saved-data files.
- Open Game Library and reinstall the game from the account that owns it, or insert the matching-region disc if you use a physical copy.
- Allow the base game and its updates to finish installing.
- Open Manage Game Content and download the purchased add-on if it is listed separately.
- Start the game and verify the pack from its in-game DLC or content screen.
Reinstalling repairs damaged or incomplete game files, but it cannot repair a mismatched region or move an entitlement between PSN accounts. If those conditions remain, the same missing-DLC symptom will return after the reinstall.

After the purchase is confirmed and the license is restored, look for these items in the appropriate in-game content or customization areas. If the pack is not listed in Manage Game Content and does not appear in-game, continue with the account, region, cache, and support steps rather than looking for a separate disc.
Digital copy versus physical disc: the correct troubleshooting path

Storage location and installation checks
The diagnostic distinction between the internal SSD and an expansion drive matters when an add-on is listed but its files are incomplete. In Manage Game Content, check where Jurassic World Evolution 2 and its add-on are installed and whether the download is paused, queued, or incomplete.
- Resume or complete any queued game or add-on download before launching.
- If an add-on entry is corrupted or permanently stalled, remove that add-on entry and download it again.
- Keep the base game and add-on available to the same PS5 installation; moving one while the other remains unavailable can make the content look missing.
Do not delete saved data as a storage remedy. Removing the application is the reinstall step; saved games are a separate category and should be backed up first.
When to contact PlayStation Support or Frontier Support
Escalate when the transaction is completed on the correct account, the region matches, licenses have been restored, the add-on cannot be downloaded or recognized, and a power-cycle or reinstall has not solved the problem.

PlayStation Support is the appropriate contact when the purchase does not download, the store shows ownership but Manage Game Content does not, or a transaction appears completed but the console cannot validate it. Include:
- PSN transaction ID.
- The purchasing PSN account.
- The game edition and whether the copy is digital or physical.
- The country or region of a physical disc and the PSN account.
- The PS5 game version shown on the console.
- Screenshots showing the transaction, ownership message, and missing or unavailable add-on.
Contact Frontier Support for game-specific content problems
Frontier Support can investigate a Jurassic World Evolution 2 entitlement or in-game content issue after the PlayStation purchase is demonstrably valid. Provide the same transaction and account details, plus a short video showing the game launch and the missing DLC screen. Mention which license, download, cache, and reinstall steps you completed so support can avoid repeating them.
Common mistakes that prolong the problem
- Reinstalling first: A reinstall does not correct an account or region mismatch. Restore licenses and verify ownership before deleting the application.

- Deleting saved data: Remove only the application when reinstalling. Back up or synchronize saves beforehand.
- Assuming every pack is a separate download: Some DLC is entitlement-based and is exposed through the game after the license refresh.
- Ignoring the disc market: A physical copy from one region paired with an account or DLC from another can prevent the add-on from functioning even when ownership is displayed.
- Buying replacement hardware: The supported remedies are account, license, download, cache, and software operations; a new storage device, accessory, or game product is not required by these troubleshooting steps.
A practical order of operations
Follow the sequence in this order to preserve your installation and evidence:
