If IRL Pro keeps disconnecting from YouTube, first refresh the current stream URL and key, then check whether the connection can sustain your bitrate. If you are streaming while moving and your setup supports it, try SRT instead of RTMP; if SRT is already in use, lower the bitrate and test again. These checks help isolate the cause without assuming an Indian ISP or carrier is at fault.
1. Refresh the YouTube stream URL and key
A saved destination can stop working if the stream key was reset or rotated, or if a relay URL became invalid after its region or protocol changed. In YouTube Studio, open the intended stream in the Live Control Room and confirm the current server URL and stream key. YouTube’s encoder workflow calls for putting the URL in the encoder’s server field and the key in its stream-key field; update both wherever your setup requires them. If you use the Enhanced IRL relay configuration described in its IRL Pro setup guide, copy the entire newly published URL after changing region, protocol or key. The guide says the old URL is invalidated by those changes. In IRL Pro, make sure the selected protocol matches the relay URL and that the URL and key are entered in the fields in the format the setup requires.

2. Match the protocol to how you are connecting
The Enhanced IRL IRL Pro guide describes RTMP and SRT configurations over one connection. It recommends SRT for a single mobile connection while moving, because its guidance says SRT handles packet loss better than RTMP. This is provider-specific advice, not a guarantee that changing protocols will cure every drop.

Do not assume the app, relay and destination all support the same protocol; verify the exact path before switching.

3. Lower bitrate to fit the real upload connection
A stream can fail even when browsing or downloads seem fast: the relevant measure is reliable outbound capacity. YouTube advises leaving headroom above the chosen stream bitrate and testing under conditions similar to the actual broadcast. A moving test matters if the disconnections happen while walking or travelling.

These are YouTube encoder recommendations, not a promise that a particular mobile or home uplink can sustain them. If your upload test or field test is less stable, lower the video bitrate; if needed, also reduce resolution or frame rate. Change one setting at a time and repeat a test so you can see which change improves stability. Enhanced IRL publishes plan-specific caps and suggests starting at half the cap before a test walk; those caps apply to that service, not to YouTube or Indian broadband generally.

4. Find where the connection breaks
Follow the signal from IRL Pro through any relay to YouTube. Check the relay chain or status view, then check the YouTube Live Control Room preview and health message. This narrows whether the encoder is failing to reach the relay, the relay is failing to forward, or YouTube is not receiving the stream.
For Enhanced IRL’s documented workflow, its troubleshooting guide suggests sending a 30-second test from another phone app using the same URL. If that feed arrives, investigate the IRL Pro configuration; if it does not, investigate the key or subscription. This is a diagnostic for that provider’s setup, not a universal test for every relay.

When asking support for help, capture the subscription status, app and Android versions, protocol, selected bitrate, exact error text, whether failure occurs while stationary or moving, and whether the same URL works in another encoder. These details help distinguish configuration trouble from an unstable uplink.

5. Do not assume a second connection is being bonded
In the Enhanced IRL configuration guide, IRL Pro uses a single connection; a second SIM or Wi-Fi link should not be assumed to combine with it automatically. The guide points to Moblin or BELABOX with SRTLA for a bonded multi-connection setup.

The IRL Pro website lists SRTLA bonding as an app feature, while the Enhanced IRL guide describes its own IRL Pro configuration as single-connection. Treat bonding as setup-dependent: confirm the app build, relay and configuration all support it before relying on multiple links. The IRL Pro site’s feature listing is at irlpro.app.
6. Separate an Indian broadband fault from a stream setup issue
The available platform and setup guidance does not establish a fault with Indian broadband as a whole or identify a specific provider, city or carrier responsible for IRL Pro disconnects. Before blaming an ISP, note whether you are using fiber, fixed wireless, Wi-Fi or cellular; your city or area, carrier if applicable, handset and Android version; when the failure occurs; and whether it happens only while moving. Compare a stationary test with a realistic field test and check the outbound connection rather than relying on download speed alone.
