If your meditation stream keeps buffering or disconnecting, first find out whether the fault follows one app or device, Wi-Fi, or the broadband connection. Test another device and, if possible, compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet before changing router settings or reporting a BSNL fault.
First identify what is disconnecting
A buffering message alone does not prove that the BSNL line is at fault. The streaming device, Wi-Fi connection, competing household use, or provider connection could be involved. Netflix similarly notes that buffering can reflect a weak or unstable connection or a device issue; that guidance is about Netflix, not a diagnosis of your meditation service (Netflix buffering guidance).

- When the interruption happens, note the time and how long it lasts.
- Check whether other websites or apps also stop working.
- Check whether other devices lose internet at the same time.
- If available, try the meditation stream on a second device.
If only one app or device fails while other services remain online, start with that app or device. If several devices lose internet, continue with the network checks below. These clues help narrow the problem; none identifies the cause by itself. When contacting your provider, Netflix recommends explaining whether one device is affected and whether it connects over Wi-Fi or cable (Netflix buffering guidance).
Separate Wi-Fi trouble from a broadband interruption
Try the stream near the router
Move the streaming device closer to the router and retry. If that helps, the wireless path may be involved. For the test, place the router in an open, elevated location away from nearby wireless devices and appliances. Google also recommends moving a Chromecast or Google TV Streamer farther from the television to reduce possible Wi-Fi or Bluetooth interference; that device-specific advice should not be assumed to apply to every streaming device (Google Chromecast connection troubleshooting; Netflix buffering guidance).

Compare with Ethernet if your equipment supports it
Connect the device directly to the router with an Ethernet cable and compare stability. A stable wired test while Wi-Fi drops points toward the local wireless path, but it does not distinguish between interference, router placement or hardware, and the device’s Wi-Fi connection. Check that the cable’s rated speed is not below the speed you expect from your internet plan, as Google advises for its Nest Wifi troubleshooting context (Google Nest Wifi troubleshooting).
A cable is a diagnostic option, not a repair for a fiber-line problem, ONT fault, account issue, or upstream outage.

Restart the network equipment carefully
- Turn off the streaming device.
- Unplug power from the modem and router. Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the network equipment and give it time to come back online.
- Restart the streaming device and test the stream again.
This is a low-risk restart sequence described by Netflix. Google specifies a two-minute unplug interval in its modem guidance, so follow the instructions for your specific equipment or provider if they differ (Netflix buffering guidance; Google Nest Wifi troubleshooting). Do not factory-reset the ONT or router, change provider credentials, or replace equipment as a first step; these are not established as universal BSNL remedies.

Large downloads, simultaneous video streaming, and gaming can compete for bandwidth. Temporarily pause large downloads or other high-bandwidth activity, then see whether the meditation stream remains stable. Google lists these types of simultaneous use as possible demands on a network (Google Nest Wifi troubleshooting).

Netflix publishes these recommended speeds for its own video playback. They are not verified minimums for the meditation stream in question, and Netflix does not state a publication year for this guidance:
- 3 Mbps or higher for 720p HD.
- 5 Mbps or higher for 1080p Full HD.
- 15 Mbps or higher for 4K UHD.
Use a speed test, if you choose, as one observation to share with support. A single result cannot establish the cause of an intermittent dropout. Netflix’s figures are available on its recommended internet speed page.

When and how to contact BSNL
Contact BSNL if multiple devices are losing internet or interruptions continue during a wired test after restarting. BSNL lists 1800-4444 for Bharat Fiber/Landline support on its contact page. Its technical complaint form includes a “Bharat Fiber Voice and Broadband” option. The BharatNet customer support page also directs users to their preferred provider for technical assistance.

- Dates and times of interruptions, how often they occur, and their duration.
- Whether other apps or devices also lose internet.
- Whether the affected device was on Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and what happened in each test.
- Any speed-test results you collected and what other household activity was running.
- What happened after the restart and any router or ONT indicators you observed, without guessing what an indicator means.
Support procedures can differ by BSNL circle and by connection type, including fiber, DSL, or AirFibre. The equipment model and local connection details matter; do not assume a light-code meaning, change PPPoE credentials, or alter DNS based on a general troubleshooting article. Ask BSNL or consult the documentation for your exact equipment.
