Open Settings and look for a Battery or Battery usage screen. Review which apps or system components account for a large share, especially if the phone was idle. Labels and menu locations vary with ColorOS version; the exact battery-usage path for every F35 Pro software build is not established, so follow the labels shown on your phone rather than relying on a fixed path.

- If one recently installed or updated app stands out, restrict its background activity or uninstall it temporarily if you can do so safely, then compare drain over a similar period.
- If no single app stands out, check whether the change follows a system update, a change in signal conditions, or a more demanding usage pattern.
- Change one condition at a time. That makes it easier to tell whether the adjustment actually affects battery use.
Turn off High Performance Mode if you do not need it
OPPO warns that High Performance Mode can make the battery drain faster and may cause overheating. If it is enabled and you do not need the extra performance, switch it off. OPPO Support’s High Performance Mode guidance lists these paths:

- ColorOS 11–15: Settings > Battery > More Settings or Battery Mode.

Test other likely contributors one at a time
These are checks for possible usage or environment causes, not confirmed defects in the F35 Pro. After changing one factor, compare battery use during a similar period before changing another.

- Mobile reception: note whether drain is worse in places with weak cellular signal; compare with a period in a stronger-signal location where practical.
- Screen and display use: try lower brightness and reduce extended demanding display use, then compare during similar activity.
- Background activity: check whether an app continues working when you are not actively using it.
Restart the phone and check for official software updates
If the drain started suddenly, restart the phone as a low-risk first check. You can also check for available software updates through the phone’s update controls or OPPO’s official support channels. An update is not guaranteed to resolve battery drain.

When to contact OPPO or an authorized service center
Seek official diagnosis if the phone continues to lose an unusual amount of charge while idle after you have checked apps and settings, or if it repeatedly overheats or shuts down.
