Check for a game-specific outage first
Look for a status page, maintenance notice, service banner or support account belonging to the named game before changing browser settings. A server outage, scheduled update or authentication incident cannot be repaired by deleting cookies. If the game has no public status page, check its official announcements and support contact for a current incident.

Use this recovery sequence for loading and crash problems

- Open the address without an old bookmark. Type or paste the current URL, or use the developer’s current navigation link. NFL Support specifically recommends revisiting the site without relying on an old bookmark because saved addresses can point to an outdated route.
- Restart the device if the browser still crashes. A restart ends stalled browser processes and releases memory. EA Help’s Pogo guidance describes resetting apps, browsers and devices as a way to resolve intermittent technical issues in its own digital products.
EA Help summarizes its Pogo guidance this way: “The majority of intermittent technical issues experienced while using our digital products are solved by resetting apps, browsers, and/or devices.” The statement concerns EA products; it is not a measured success rate or a promise that a Pokémon fantasy game will recover.
Fix a blank page, endless spinner or immediate crash
Blank page or spinner
First perform the recovery sequence through cache clearing and extension testing. A blank page often means the game’s scripts did not finish loading, but the same appearance can come from a server error or a blocked sign-in window. Watch the browser address bar: if it keeps changing between login addresses, the problem may be authentication rather than rendering.

Try the game in a private/incognito window only as a comparison. If it works there, an extension, cached site data or an existing login session is a likely difference. Private mode is not a permanent fix; use the result to decide whether to remove the affected site’s data or adjust an extension.
Crash during startup or play
Close other programs and tabs before testing again. If the crash occurs only after several minutes, note what action preceded it and whether the device becomes hot or displays a low-memory warning. Test at a lower browser zoom and with extensions disabled. Do not install random “game booster” utilities or browser add-ons as a first response; they add another variable and may interfere with scripts.

If the browser itself closes, test the same game in another browser that the game developer lists as supported. A different browser can show whether the failure follows the game or one browser profile, but an unsupported browser cannot prove that the game is defective.
Resolve stale pages, sign-in loops and account symptoms
Stale content after an update
Clear cached files and cookies for the game’s site, fully quit the browser and return through the current URL. Clearing cookies signs you out, so confirm that you know the correct login method before doing it. If the game uses a linked account, do not create a second account merely to test; that can make account recovery harder.

Sign-in returns to the same page
Check whether cookies and pop-ups are blocked for the game and its official identity provider. Temporarily allow the required site, disable extensions that rewrite or block scripts, close the browser and sign in again. If the loop continues in two supported browsers and a private session, record the exact redirect or error and contact the game’s account support. Browser resets cannot repair a disabled, locked or incorrectly linked account.
Roster, score or saved lineup is missing
Do not repeatedly submit the same action while the page is uncertain; duplicate requests can create confusing results. Refresh once, check the game’s own activity or account history, and look for a maintenance notice. If information is absent only in one browser, capture a screenshot and compare the same account in another supported browser. Treat account data as server-side until the developer confirms otherwise.

Only part of the field or controls is visible
Adjust browser zoom using the browser menu or keyboard controls, then reload the game. EA specifically recommends changing browser zoom for a Pogo game screen that does not fit. Return zoom to its normal level after testing if other sites become difficult to read. Also rotate a phone or tablet, dismiss an open browser toolbar and test full-screen mode if the game provides one.
Buttons are present but do not respond
Wait for the page to finish loading, then test with extensions and pop-up blocking disabled for the site. A transparent overlay from a sign-in dialog or consent prompt can sit above the game and intercept taps. If the issue appears only at one zoom level or window size, record that condition for support rather than repeatedly tapping.

Animation freezes while audio continues
Note whether the browser tab shows high CPU or memory use, then close other programs and reload. Test another supported browser on the same device. If every browser freezes at the same point, the trigger may be game-side or account-side; provide the exact action and time to the developer.

Pokémon Support recommends using the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or Samsung Internet for Pokémon.com. That list applies to Pokémon.com itself, not automatically to an independent fantasy-football game. A fan game may require a particular browser engine, disable mobile play or depend on a third-party login.
Find the game developer’s own requirements, then check:
- Whether your browser and operating system are explicitly supported.
- Whether the game requires JavaScript, cookies, pop-ups, WebGL or audio permissions.
- Whether mobile and desktop versions are separate products.
- Whether an older browser version is rejected after a game update.
- Whether the game is limited to a particular region, account type or competition season.
Keep the browser updated through its normal settings, but do not infer that the latest release guarantees compatibility. If the developer lists no requirements, report your exact browser and version rather than claiming that a browser is officially supported.
Compare one variable at a time
Controlled comparisons are more useful than changing several settings at once. Use the following matrix and write down what happens after each test.

A second browser is meaningful only when the game developer supports it. Record negative results too: “fails in two supported browsers on one device” is useful evidence for the developer.

If the page cannot be reached at all, check whether other unrelated websites load on the same connection. A local network outage, captive portal or restrictive school/work network can prevent game assets or login services from loading. Do not bypass an organization’s security controls without permission. If the game works on a permitted second network but not the first, tell the developer and network administrator the domains or error text involved.
If every browser and device shows the same maintenance message, timeout or server error, stop changing local settings and wait for the developer’s status update. Repeated cache deletion will not restore a service that is offline.
Escalate with a complete support report
After the generic checks fail, use the named game’s support form, email or community channel. Include:
- Exact game URL and the page or feature that fails.
- Date and time of the failure, including your time zone.
- Device model, operating system and browser version.
- Exact error text, screenshots and any browser console or network message the support team specifically asks for.
- Whether the problem occurs on a second supported browser, another device or a private session.
- The ordered steps you already tried: closing tabs, clearing site data, disabling extensions or pop-ups, restarting the browser and device, and adjusting zoom.
- Whether other sites and the game’s status page were reachable.
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, recovery keys or full payment-card details. A legitimate support team should not need them to diagnose a loading or display problem.
Prevent repeat failures
- Keep a current bookmark only after confirming it points to the developer’s active game address.
- Update the browser and operating system through their standard update tools.
- Keep extensions to the minimum you need, and review site-specific permissions after major browser updates.
- Close heavy tabs before a long fantasy draft or live match.
- Save screenshots of unusual errors and note the browser version when the game is working; that gives you a baseline for future reports.
- Use the game’s official status and support channels for maintenance, account and compatibility information.
