For Wi-Fi, configure the Triangle Capella 2 through the TRIANGLE CAPELLA app with your phone’s location services enabled. Select the detected Stereo Hub 2 and follow the prompts; a solid white front LED indicates that the hub has joined the network. If wireless setup cannot be completed, connect the hub to your broadband router with an RJ45 Ethernet cable and then find it in the app.
Bluetooth uses a different path. Select the Bluetooth input with the Capella 2 remote, then search for Stereo Hub 2 in the phone, tablet or computer’s Bluetooth settings. If it is not listed, start pairing mode from the app’s Bluetooth settings and search again. These procedures come from Triangle’s current Capella 2 support guidance, accessed 13 October 2026.

First identify which connection is failing
The Capella 2 has two independent wireless functions. Wi-Fi connects the Stereo Hub 2 to your home network and the internet. Bluetooth connects a nearby source device, such as a phone, tablet or computer, to the system for playback. A failure in one does not prove that the other is broken, and the remedies are different.

Ethernet is an alternative route for the hub’s network connection. It does not put a Bluetooth device into pairing mode and therefore cannot repair Bluetooth discovery.
#1 Best Overall

- Gold-plated contacts and bare copper conductors improve signal integrity and resist corrosion
Prepare before changing settings
Use the phone that will run setup and keep the Capella 2 remote available. The manufacturer specifically requires location services to be enabled on the phone for Wi-Fi setup. If location access is disabled, the app may not be able to complete its discovery process.
- Turn on the phone’s location services before launching the setup process.
- Install and open the TRIANGLE CAPELLA app.
- Have the Capella 2 remote nearby because selecting the Bluetooth source is done from the remote.
- Expect the first network connection to take longer if the system offers an update. Triangle says an update may occur during initial connection and can slow setup.
- Watch the Stereo Hub 2’s front LED. Solid white is the manufacturer’s network-connected indication.
Do not treat a slow first setup as proof that the hub has frozen until the update and on-screen process have had time to finish. The support material does not establish a universal completion time, because household networks and devices differ.
Fix the Wi-Fi connection
Run the app-based setup
- Enable location services on the phone you will use for configuration.
- Launch TRIANGLE CAPELLA.
- When the app displays the detected equipment, select Stereo Hub 2.
- Follow each on-screen instruction to provide the network information and complete setup.
- Allow the initial connection to perform an update if the app requests one. This can make the first connection slower than later launches.
- Confirm the Stereo Hub 2’s front LED becomes solid white. That is Triangle’s stated confirmation that the hub is connected to the network.
The app is the documented Wi-Fi setup route. If the hub is detected, work through its prompts rather than trying to pair it from the phone’s ordinary Bluetooth menu; Wi-Fi provisioning and Bluetooth pairing are separate operations.

If the app does not complete setup
Check the two prerequisites that Triangle calls out: location services must be enabled, and the app must be running the hub-detection flow. Return to the app and select the detected Stereo Hub 2 when it appears. If an update is offered, let that stage finish before judging the connection.
If the app cannot complete a wireless network connection, use the wired fallback below. The available guidance does not identify a particular router brand, phone operating-system version, interference pattern or error code as the universal cause of a failed setup, so avoid assigning blame to one of those without device-specific evidence.
Use the Ethernet fallback
- Obtain a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable.
- Plug one end into the Stereo Hub 2’s RJ45 network port.
- Plug the other end into an available port on the broadband router.
- Open TRIANGLE CAPELLA and look for the hub in the app.
Triangle documents this wired connection as an alternative network path. It is useful when Wi-Fi provisioning cannot be completed, but it changes only how the Stereo Hub 2 reaches the network. It does not make the hub appear in a Bluetooth search.

Read the network indicator correctly
A solid white front LED is the relevant success indication supplied in Triangle’s setup guidance. If the app process is still running and the LED has not reached that state, continue following the app rather than assuming the network is ready. If the LED is solid white but a phone still cannot stream over Bluetooth, switch to the Bluetooth procedure: network status and Bluetooth source status are not the same thing.
Fix Bluetooth pairing
Start with the Capella 2 remote
- Use the Capella 2 remote’s left and right controls to select the Bluetooth input.
- On the source device, open its Bluetooth settings and start a device search.
- Look for Stereo Hub 2. Depending on previous configuration, it may appear under a name chosen by the owner rather than the factory name.
- Select the matching entry and complete the connection on the source device.
Selecting the Bluetooth input first matters because it places the system on the source that is intended to accept a Bluetooth connection. Searching from the phone alone, without changing the Capella 2 input, does not follow Triangle’s documented sequence.
Make the hub visible when it is absent
If Stereo Hub 2 does not appear in the source device’s search results, start pairing mode through the app:

- The unique flat cable shape allows for a cleaner and safer installation. You can easily and seamlessly make the cable run along walls, follow edges & corners or even make it completely invisible by sliding it under a carpet.
- Open TRIANGLE CAPELLA.
- Tap the source icon.
- Open the Bluetooth settings area.
- Enable Bluetooth there if it is disabled.
- Start pairing mode.
- Return to the phone, tablet or computer’s Bluetooth settings and search again.
- Select Stereo Hub 2, or the owner-assigned name shown for it.
This is the manufacturer’s additional discovery path when ordinary searching does not list the hub. It is not necessary to use the Ethernet cable for this problem, because Ethernet addresses network access rather than Bluetooth visibility.
Set volume after pairing
Once the source device reports a Bluetooth connection, Triangle recommends setting that device’s volume to about 75 percent and using the Capella 2 remote for listening volume. This is operating guidance after a successful connection, not a remedy for a missing device or failed pairing.

Keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth troubleshooting separate
| Task | Where you perform it | Success indication |
|---|---|---|
| Join the home network | TRIANGLE CAPELLA app, with location services enabled | Stereo Hub 2 is selected in the app and its front LED is solid white |
| Connect a playback source | Capella 2 remote, then the source device’s Bluetooth settings | The source device connects to Stereo Hub 2 or its owner-assigned name |
| Force Bluetooth discoverability | TRIANGLE CAPELLA source icon and Bluetooth settings | Pairing mode starts, after which the source device can find the hub |
| Replace Wi-Fi with a cable | RJ45 connection between Stereo Hub 2 and broadband router | The hub becomes available in TRIANGLE CAPELLA over the wired network |
The product information identifies Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and an RJ45 network port on the Stereo Hub 2. Those specifications explain why the app, the remote and the source device each have a different role: the app provisions network access, the remote selects the listening input, and the source device completes Bluetooth pairing.

What not to infer from a failed connection
- A missing Bluetooth listing is not automatically a Wi-Fi failure. Use the app’s Bluetooth pairing-mode command and search again before changing network settings.
- A failed Wi-Fi setup is not automatically a Bluetooth failure. The documented wired alternative can restore network access without changing Bluetooth behavior.
- An owner-assigned Bluetooth name can hide the factory name. Search for the name associated with the system, not only the words “Stereo Hub 2.”
- A slow first connection is not necessarily a fault. Triangle warns that an update may run during initial setup.
- A solid white LED answers only the network question. It confirms the hub’s network connection; it does not confirm that a particular phone is paired over Bluetooth.
Reset and reinstall only with Triangle’s procedure
When the app route, Bluetooth pairing-mode route and Ethernet fallback have all been tried, use Triangle’s official Capella 2 reset and reinstallation tutorial rather than guessing at a button combination. The support material links a guide whose chapters cover:
- Resetting the system
- Reinstalling Stereo Hub 2
- Pairing the remote
- Reinstalling the speakers
- Reconnecting the system to the internet
The exact reset sequence is not reproduced here because applying the wrong combination can change the system’s configuration. Follow the current manufacturer guide step by step, including any order it specifies for the hub, remote and speakers. After reinstallation, repeat the app-based network setup and use the solid-white LED as the network confirmation.
When to contact Triangle support
Escalate through Triangle’s support contact route if the documented procedures do not restore the connection, if the hub never appears in the app despite the wired test, or if the reset and reinstallation guide cannot be completed. Include details that let support distinguish the two connection paths:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- Whether the failure is Wi-Fi setup, Bluetooth discovery, or both
- The phone, tablet or computer used for the attempt
- Whether location services were enabled for Wi-Fi setup
- What name, if any, appeared in the Bluetooth search
- The Stereo Hub 2 front-LED state
- The exact message shown by TRIANGLE CAPELLA
- Whether an RJ45 connection to the broadband router changed the hub’s visibility in the app
These observations are more useful than assuming a particular router, operating system or radio-interference cause. Triangle’s published procedures establish the supported connection methods, but they do not diagnose every household network or hardware fault.
Quick Recap
A compact recovery checklist
- Decide whether the failure concerns Wi-Fi network access or Bluetooth source pairing.
- For Wi-Fi, enable phone location services, open TRIANGLE CAPELLA, select the detected Stereo Hub 2 and follow the prompts.
- Allow a possible first-connection update and wait for the front LED to become solid white.
- If wireless network setup cannot finish, connect the hub’s RJ45 port to the broadband router and locate it in the app.
- For Bluetooth, select the Bluetooth input with the remote and search for Stereo Hub 2 or its owner-assigned name on the source device.
- If it is missing, use the app’s source icon, Bluetooth settings and pairing-mode command, then search again.
- Use Triangle’s reset/reinstallation tutorial for persistent failures; do not invent a reset sequence.
- Provide the support team with the device, LED, app-error and connection-path details listed above.
