If it still does not respond—or the phone rings while its display stays blank—contact an authorized repair center rather than assuming the battery or charging port has failed.
1. Check the cable, adapter, and connections
Look over the charging cable and USB adapter for visible damage, then make sure the cable is firmly connected to both the adapter and phone. realme recommends using the original charging cable and USB adapter and trying another cable and adapter if available. Any replacement should be compatible with your exact Realme model; the correct connector and charging requirements can vary by handset. If the phone or charger becomes unusually hot, disconnect it and let it cool. realme’s undated support guidance says charging above 45 °C can degrade battery performance and slow charging. Do not keep trying a visibly damaged accessory.
2. Leave an unresponsive phone charging
Connect the phone to a suitable charger and leave it charging for up to 30 minutes before retrying the restart. This is realme’s basic recovery step for a phone that does not respond; it does not establish that a faulty battery or port will recover. The duration comes from realme’s undated troubleshooting instructions.

3. Force restart the phone
- With the phone connected to the charger, press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time.
- Keep holding both buttons for at least eight seconds, then release them and check whether the phone starts.
This is the force-restart procedure realme publishes. The Singapore support page describes holding both buttons “for at least eight seconds,” and realme Nepal’s FAQ gives the same combination and duration. Button behavior can vary by model, so check support for your specific handset if this sequence does not match its instructions: realme Singapore troubleshooting and realme Nepal FAQ.
4. Check whether the screen, rather than the phone, is unresponsive
A black display does not prove that the phone is powered off. Google notes that if a connected Android phone shows no battery icon or red light, the screen could be the issue. If your Realme rings but the screen remains blank, Google advises contacting an authorized repair center. Follow Google’s Android troubleshooting guidance.

5. When to contact realme service
If the phone still will not respond after checking the charging setup, charging it for up to 30 minutes, and trying the force restart, contact an authorized realme customer service center. realme advises bringing the phone, proof of purchase, and warranty card. Do not open the handset or attempt model-specific disassembly based only on these symptoms; the cause and appropriate repair cannot be established without inspecting the device.
