A Pixel 10 that will not connect can fail at several different points: the phone’s radio may be disabled, a saved network or pairing may be stale, an app may interfere, or the router, internet service, or accessory may be the real problem. Work through the checks in order, testing after each one. Start with the reversible steps, identify which side reproduces the failure, then clear the affected connection, test in Safe Mode, reset network settings, install any available Pixel update, and contact the right support team if the fault remains.
This guide covers “Pixel 10 won’t connect to Wi‑Fi,” “Pixel 10 Wi‑Fi won’t turn on,” “Pixel 10 Bluetooth won’t connect,” and “Pixel 10 can’t pair with Bluetooth” symptoms without assuming they all have one cause.

Start with the low-risk checks
Do these checks before deleting saved networks or resetting settings. After every step, try the same Wi‑Fi network or Bluetooth accessory again so you know which change helped.
- Confirm the radios are enabled. Open Quick Settings and make sure Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth is on. If a tile is unavailable, open Settings and check the corresponding switch there.
- Turn Airplane mode off. Airplane mode can disable both radios. Turn it off, wait a few seconds, and try again.
- Toggle the affected connection. Turn Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth off, wait about 10 seconds, and turn it back on.
- Restart the Pixel 10. A restart reloads the phone’s connection services without deleting saved data.
- Restart the other side. Reboot the router or access point for a Wi‑Fi test. For Bluetooth, power the accessory off and on; for a car, switch the vehicle infotainment system off and back on if the manual permits it.
If Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth still fails, do not immediately buy new hardware. First determine whether the failure follows the phone or stays with one network or accessory.

Isolate the failing device, network, or service
Cross-testing is the fastest way to avoid changing the wrong setting. Use another device on the same Wi‑Fi network, then put the Pixel 10 on a different network. For Bluetooth, try a second accessory if one is available.
| Test result | Most likely area | Next move |
|---|---|---|
| Other devices also fail on the original Wi‑Fi | Router, access point, or internet service | Restart the network equipment, then contact the network administrator, internet service provider, or router manufacturer if the outage continues. |
| Other devices work on that Wi‑Fi, but the Pixel 10 fails there | Pixel settings, software, or the phone’s Wi‑Fi connection | Forget and reconnect the network, check date and time, test Safe Mode, then consider a network reset. |
| The Pixel 10 works on another Wi‑Fi network | The original network or its configuration | Ask the network administrator or ISP to check the router, authentication, filtering, or service. |
| The Pixel joins Wi‑Fi but shows no internet | Internet service or the network’s upstream connection | Test another device and check the router or ISP; changing the Pixel’s saved password is unlikely to restore an ISP outage. |
| The Pixel 10 cannot pair with any Bluetooth accessory | Phone software, Bluetooth state, or a phone-side setting | Restart, clear unused pairings, install updates, test Safe Mode where practical, and reset Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi if needed. |
| Only one Bluetooth accessory fails | That accessory, its pairing memory, or compatibility | Forget the accessory on the Pixel, clear the Pixel from the accessory’s memory, and follow the accessory maker’s pairing instructions. |
Google’s Wi‑Fi guidance summarizes the key test this way: if the phone can connect elsewhere, the problem is most likely with the network. This distinction determines whether phone support or network support is the productive next call.
Fix a Pixel 10 that sees Wi‑Fi but will not connect
Forget the saved network and reconnect
A damaged password record or stale security negotiation can prevent a previously working network from joining. Deleting that one saved entry forces a fresh connection.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →- Open Settings > Network & internet > Internet.
- Open Saved networks.
- Select the problem network and tap Forget.
- Return to the Internet screen, select the network again, and enter its password or other required credentials.
Re-enter the password carefully, including capitalization and punctuation. If the router has separate network names for different bands, select the name you normally use rather than assuming the phone should join a particular band.
Complete a public Wi‑Fi sign-in
Hotels, airports, cafés, schools, and workplaces may let the phone associate with Wi‑Fi but block internet access until a sign-in page is accepted. After joining, look for a sign-in notification. If no notification appears, open a new browser page to trigger the network’s captive portal and complete its terms or login. A connection that shows Wi‑Fi bars but no usable websites can therefore be an unfinished sign-in rather than a Pixel radio failure.

Check automatic date and time
An incorrect clock can interfere with Wi‑Fi authentication and secure connections. Enable automatic time at Settings > System > Date & time. After changing it, disconnect and reconnect to the network. This check is especially relevant if the phone was recently restored, spent a long time powered off, or has a manually configured clock.
Test whether a downloaded app is interfering
Safe Mode starts Android with downloaded apps disabled. It can reveal whether an app that filters traffic, manages VPN connections, changes network behavior, or overlays system controls is involved.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute- Open the Pixel 10’s power menu using the normal power-button procedure.
- Touch and hold Power off until the Safe Mode prompt appears, then confirm.
- When the phone restarts, turn Airplane mode off. Safe Mode enables Airplane mode automatically, so Wi‑Fi testing will otherwise give a false result.
- Try the same Wi‑Fi network.
- Restart normally when finished. If Wi‑Fi works in Safe Mode, remove recently installed or recently updated apps one at a time, restarting and testing after each removal.
If the connection fails in Safe Mode as well, a downloaded app is less likely to be the cause. Do not uninstall many apps at once; changing one variable at a time identifies the culprit and avoids unnecessary data loss.
Fix “Pixel 10 Wi‑Fi won’t turn on”
When the Wi‑Fi switch is greyed out, immediately turns itself off, or disappears after a restart, record whether Bluetooth behaves the same way. A simultaneous failure points toward a phone-side software state more than a single router password.
- Turn Airplane mode off, toggle Wi‑Fi, and restart the phone.
- Install any system update offered for the device (the update path is described below).
- Try Safe Mode with Airplane mode manually disabled.
- If the switch still will not stay enabled, use Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Bluetooth & Wi‑Fi after preparing to reconnect every saved network and paired accessory.
A September 2026 Google Pixel Support Team update announcement lists a fix for an issue that prevented users from enabling Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth under certain conditions. That is directly relevant when a switch will not enable, but it does not establish that every failure to join a network has the same cause.

Fix a Pixel 10 that will not pair with Bluetooth
Put the accessory into pairing mode
Bluetooth discovery usually requires a deliberate pairing mode, not merely turning the accessory on. Follow the accessory’s manual for the button combination or indicator light that confirms pairing mode. Keep the accessory close to the phone during the first pairing attempt and make sure it has sufficient charge.

Remove stale pairings on both sides
Old entries can block a new handshake, particularly after replacing a phone or restoring a car’s infotainment system.
- On the Pixel 10, open Bluetooth settings, select devices no longer in use, and choose the option to forget or remove them.
- Forget the affected accessory on the Pixel, then start a fresh pairing attempt from the accessory’s pairing mode.
- If the accessory is a car, clear the old phone from the vehicle’s Bluetooth memory as well. The exact menu differs by vehicle, so use the vehicle manual to locate its delete-device or clear-pairings process.
- Pair again and accept the confirmation code on both screens when requested.
Clearing only the phone can leave the vehicle or accessory still trying to reconnect to an obsolete record. Clearing only the accessory can leave the Pixel attempting the same stale record, which is why both sides matter.
Check the audio profile you actually need
After pairing, open the connected device’s settings on the Pixel and confirm the required profile is enabled. Turn on Media audio for music and video playback, and Phone audio for calls. A device can appear connected while one of those profiles is disabled, making it seem as if Bluetooth is broken when the link itself is active.
Separate accessory faults from phone faults
Try a second known-working Bluetooth accessory if available. If the Pixel connects to the second device, focus on the first accessory’s memory, firmware, compatibility, or manual. If no accessory pairs, continue with the phone-side restart, update, Safe Mode, and reset steps. Do not assume a new accessory will fix a phone-wide pairing failure.

Reset Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi settings when selective fixes fail
Google’s Wi‑Fi instructions provide the path Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Bluetooth & Wi‑Fi. This is more disruptive than forgetting one network because it removes saved Wi‑Fi connections and Bluetooth pairings. Google’s general Pixel help also describes a network reset as clearing saved networks and pairings.
Before selecting the reset, make sure you have:
- Passwords or sign-in details for frequently used Wi‑Fi networks.
- Time to pair earbuds, watches, cars, keyboards, and other accessories again.
- The vehicle or accessory manuals available if their pairing memories must also be cleared.
- Any work or school network instructions needed for certificates, portals, or additional authentication.
After the reset, restart the Pixel 10, join one trusted Wi‑Fi network, and test it before restoring every other connection. Then pair one Bluetooth accessory and test its needed profile. Adding connections in stages makes it easier to identify a problematic network or accessory.

What the 2026 announcements do and do not show
| Announcement | Pixel 10 relevance | How to use the information |
|---|---|---|
| Google Pixel Support Team, January 2026 | Pixel 10 was listed among supported devices receiving that update. The published fixes did not list Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. | Do not treat the January announcement as proof that it addresses a connection failure. Check the update actually offered to your phone. |
| Google Pixel Support Team, September 2026 | The announcement listed a fix for an issue that could prevent Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth from being enabled under certain conditions. | This is most relevant when a switch will not turn on. It is not a guarantee for every pairing, password, router, or internet-service problem. |
Rollout timing and availability can vary by device, carrier, and region. A Pixel 10 may not receive an announcement’s build at the same time as another Pixel 10, so use the update screen on your own phone rather than relying on a calendar date.
Google Community posts include individual Pixel 10 owners describing Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth problems in early 2026, including one report of improvement after an update. These are user anecdotes, not an official diagnosis, a measured failure rate, or a promised fix.

Choose the right support route
Escalate only after the cross-tests and connection cleanup identify where the failure lives. Give support the exact test results rather than saying only that “the internet is broken.”
| Pattern after troubleshooting | Contact | Useful details to provide |
|---|---|---|
| The problem follows the Pixel 10 across multiple Wi‑Fi networks or Bluetooth accessories | Pixel support | Whether Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth can be enabled, the update version, Safe Mode result, reset result, and whether both radios fail. |
| Only one Wi‑Fi network fails, while the Pixel works elsewhere | Network administrator, ISP, or router manufacturer | Router model, network name, whether other devices connect, whether the Pixel joins without internet, and any captive-portal or authentication message. |
| Only one Bluetooth accessory fails | Accessory manufacturer or vehicle support | Accessory model, pairing-mode procedure used, whether its old phone entry was deleted, and which profiles are missing. |
| Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth switches cannot be enabled even after the September 2026-class update is installed | Pixel support | The exact behavior of each switch, update build, restart and Safe Mode results, and whether a network reset changed anything. |
Support can distinguish a phone-side software problem from a network or accessory issue only when these comparisons are documented. If the issue is limited to one network, changing the phone repeatedly is unlikely to repair the router or service.
Use a factory reset only as a last-stage action
Google warns that a factory reset deletes data. It is not the next step after one failed pairing attempt. Consider it only after backing up important photos, messages, authentication data, and other files, and after Pixel support has advised that the remaining symptoms justify it.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →A factory reset also removes accounts, apps, saved networks, pairings, and local settings. If the underlying problem is a failing router, internet service, or accessory, resetting the phone will not repair that device. Preserve the cross-test results and support case information before wiping the phone so you can show what was already ruled out.
Verify the repair without recreating the original problem
Once a connection works, test it in the way you actually use it:
- For Wi‑Fi, open several websites or apps, then test again after moving to the normal room or distance from the router.
- For a public network, disconnect and reconnect once to confirm the sign-in page appears reliably.
- For Bluetooth, play media if you need Media audio, place a test call if you need Phone audio, and confirm the accessory reconnects after Bluetooth is toggled off and on.
- For a car, verify both hands-free calling and media playback, because those can use separate profiles.
- Reconnect additional networks and accessories one at a time after the first successful test.
This staged verification keeps a single working connection as a reference. If a later network or accessory causes the symptom to return, you have a specific item to forget, update, or report rather than another unexplained Pixel 10 failure.
