Both the arena and casino are investigation locations in the Novigrad main quest Get Junior. The casino is east of St. Gregory’s Bridge; for the arena, follow the active quest marker after speaking with Sigi Reuven. Your choices at these locations can affect how you reach Junior later.
When the arena and casino become quest objectives
Progress through Get Junior and speak with Sigi Reuven. The quest can then point you toward several leads: the arena, the casino, and Junior’s hideout. The guides do not establish one required order for visiting the arena and casino, so use the active objective in your journal to track whichever lead you choose.

Find the arena and complete its investigation
Select the arena objective in your quest log and follow its marker through Novigrad. This is the clearest practical way to locate it; the available walkthroughs do not give a comparably precise street landmark.

- Follow the arena quest marker and enter the location.
- Carry out the current objective, which may involve fighting in the ring or defeating the thugs there.
- Search for documents and read them.
- Use Witcher Senses to find the access point to a secret stash, then read the letter inside.
Quest objectives can depend on the approach you take, so follow the on-screen prompts if your sequence differs.

Find the casino and choose how to enter
The casino is east of St. Gregory’s Bridge in Novigrad. Game8 describes two ways to get inside without starting a fight:
- Pay 200 crowns: Bribe the bouncers for entry.
- Use Axii: Delusion level 3 can persuade the bouncers to let you in.
According to Game8’s walkthrough, killing the bouncers locks out the casino’s Gwent route. If you want to play Gwent there, avoid forcing your way in by attacking them. Once inside, follow the active quest objectives to investigate.

Preserve the later secret-passage route
The Witcher Wiki walkthrough warns that attacking or asking about Whoreson Junior during your visit to the arena or casino can prevent you from using a secret passage later. It also says that Cleaver’s help affects this route. These are branch-specific consequences, not proof that every visit leads to the same outcome. If preserving access to the passage matters to you, avoid provoking Junior at either location and consider how Cleaver’s involvement fits your chosen approach.
Continue the quest
After collecting information from the arena or casino, return to the quest contacts and follow the next active objective. The sequence may change with your choices; use the journal marker rather than assuming the two locations must be visited in a fixed order.
