To find the official broadcaster for a cricket match abroad, check the event organizer’s official “Official Broadcasters,” “Broadcast Details” or “Where to Watch” page. Choose the country where you will watch, then confirm the exact match, channel or streaming service, and local schedule with the broadcaster. Rights are specific to both the event and territory, so a service that shows one tournament may not carry another.
How can I watch cricket in another country?
- Identify the event and match. Note the competition or series and the specific fixture. An ICC tournament, a national board’s home series and a franchise league may have different rights holders.
- Choose your viewing country. Use the country where you will actually watch. The match’s host country—or your home country—does not by itself determine which service you can access abroad.
- Open the organizer’s official site. Look for the event’s “Official Broadcasters,” “Broadcast Details” or “Where to Watch” page. For an ICC event, start with the ICC’s official broadcaster page. For other cricket, check the relevant board or competition’s own site.
- Find your territory’s entry. Record the named rights holder and any specific TV channel, website or app listed. A broadcaster’s name alone may not tell you which of its services carries the match.
- Confirm the match in the service’s own guide. Check its local schedule or regional event page for the exact fixture. The ICC.tv guide, for example, asks users to find tournaments, series and matches available to stream “within your region”; it is an availability check, not a guarantee that every event streams everywhere. See ICC.tv.
- Check the practical details and recheck near match time. Confirm local start time, live or delayed coverage, commentary language, access conditions and whether the listing is for the full match. Schedules and event pages can change, so check the organizer’s page and service listing close to the game.
Who is showing this cricket match in my country?
The organizer’s current event page is the most direct starting point. Its territory listing may name more than one service or distinguish television from digital coverage. The ICC’s official instruction is: “The coverage plans of the tournament per territory are listed below, please check local listings for transmission/broadcast/radio timings.” Check the ICC broadcaster listing for the named tournament, then verify your match with the service itself.

For example, the ICC’s Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 broadcaster page lists Sky Sports for the UK and Northern Ireland, Willow TV for the USA and Canada, and Prime Video for Australia. Those are examples for that event only, not general cricket rights. First confirm that the organizer lists a service for the country where you will be travelling. Then look up the exact match in that service’s local app, website or event guide. A platform may have regional limits, and the organizer’s listing does not establish that the match is free, included in a particular subscription, or available live rather than delayed. The reviewed ICC pages do not establish a price or signup requirement for an unspecified match and country.

If the official page lists several options, compare them against the details that matter to you:
- Does the service list the exact fixture?
- Is coverage live or delayed?
- Is it on a TV channel, an app, a website or more than one of these?
- Is it available in your current country, and what access conditions apply?
- Is commentary offered in a language you want?
- Is radio or audio coverage listed as well as video?
Do not assume that a VPN, a generic streaming app or a service used for another tournament establishes official rights or guarantees access. Verify the local listing with the event organizer and named broadcaster.

Is this match available on ICC.tv in my region?
Check the ICC.tv guide for the tournament, series or match and whether it is marked as live-streamable within your region. The guide describes regional availability; it does not promise that every ICC event or fixture is available to stream in every country. If the match is not shown as available, return to the event’s territory-specific broadcaster page and check the named local service.
Why coverage can differ within one tournament
Rights and formats can vary by territory, platform, match and language. For the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, the ICC said all 55 matches would be available through Willow in English and Hindi, and that USA matches would be free in the US and Canada. A separate ICC article dated 7 February described Hindi, Urdu, Sinhala and Nepali options for specified territories and match categories. The ICC’s 2026 language article says viewers on ICC.tv could choose Hindi for all games, Urdu for Pakistan games and Nepali for Nepal games in more than 80 territories. That figure refers to language availability for the named tournament, not the number of territories with all cricket coverage.
