The locked outhouse is on the western to southwestern waterfront side of Braithwaite Manor, west of the main house and near the small worker buildings. Look among the trees just south of that cluster for a white outhouse, listen for a woman’s voice, and peek inside before inspecting it to record Braithwaite’s Secret in Arthur’s journal.
Where to look
Travel to Braithwaite Manor in Scarlett Meadows, Lemoyne. The outhouse is not part of the main manor: search along the estate’s western or southwestern edge, by the waterfront and west of the house. The shoreline and nearby worker buildings are more useful landmarks than trying to follow a precise compass bearing; descriptions place it around the southwest corner and just south of the small buildings.

Look among the trees for a small white outhouse secured with a chain. As Arthur gets close, listen for a woman calling or babbling and use her voice to home in on the door.
How to record Braithwaite’s Secret
- Approach as Arthur. The point of interest is discoverable by Arthur, not simply by reaching the property with another character.
- Peek inside first. Use the prompt at the opening to look in. The woman reaches toward Arthur during the encounter.
- Inspect the location afterward. Once you have peeked inside, inspect the spot to add Braithwaite’s Secret to Arthur’s journal or notebook. Trying to inspect before peeking may not complete the discovery sequence.
Optional later-game spoiler
One guide reports that if you return after Chapter 6, the woman—identified there as Gertrude Braithwaite—is dead and her skeleton is in the outhouse. You do not need to wait until then to find or record the point of interest.
