First settle on the model and storage capacity. Then check the live checkout price for that configuration at Samsung and any retailer or carrier you are considering. Samsung named Amazon among the S26’s U.S. sales channels, so it is a valid place to look for the phone; that does not establish Amazon’s current price, stock, seller, or any particular listing’s terms.

Tom’s Guide reported on October 1, 2026 that prices had increased, listing these prices for U.S. configurations. These are reported figures, not independently verified Samsung list prices, and should be reconfirmed at checkout.

Samsung said general availability began March 11, 2026. Its launch discounts are historical, not evidence of current promotions. Likewise, AT&T’s launch announcement described model-dependent trade-in offers of up to $1,300 off the Ultra, $1,100 off the Plus and $900 off the base S26; those figures do not confirm that the offer is still available.

Evaluate a trade-in estimate before relying on it
- Identify your device accurately. Select the exact make, model and any requested storage or carrier details in the trade-in flow.
- Answer condition questions honestly. Check power, display and damage against the eligibility criteria for the specific offer. A preliminary estimate is not a guarantee of the final credit.
- Check ownership and lock requirements. Confirm the phone is eligible for trade-in, is not leased where the offer excludes leased devices, and can be reset with personal information removed and software locks disabled.

For a carrier deal, calculate the cost across the full commitment rather than subtracting the advertised discount from the phone’s price. Verify the current carrier terms directly: the cited launch announcements do not establish today’s plan requirements or credit schedules for AT&T or other carriers.
