For US shoppers, the quickest reliable route is Nintendo’s official Sales & Deals page. Select Nintendo Switch in the platform filter, then narrow the listing by price, category, genre, availability, or edition. Open each game’s live entry to confirm its current price and offer end date before you buy, because sale listings change.
Start with Nintendo’s official US sale listing
Open Nintendo’s Sales & Deals page. It is the official US starting point for browsing Nintendo’s listed digital offers, so you do not have to rely on an old deal article, a search-result snippet, or a screenshot that may show an expired promotion.

The page is a live catalogue rather than a permanent list. Nintendo can add, remove, or change offers, prices, and deadlines. Treat the page as the current source of truth each time you shop, and open the individual product entry before relying on any detail.
Filter the sale for Nintendo Switch games
1. Apply the platform filter
Find the sale listing’s filters and choose Nintendo Switch under platform. This is the key step when the sale page includes offers associated with more than one Nintendo platform. Applying it first keeps the remaining results focused on Switch-compatible listings.

- Play on the go in handheld or tabletop modes
- Includes Super Mario Mash-Up, Natural Texture Pack, Biome Settlers Skin Pack, Battle & Beasts Skin Pack, Campfire Tales Skin Pack; Compatible with Nintendo Switch only
2. Add a price filter
Use the price filter if you have a firm spending limit. Select the price range or criterion presented by the live listing rather than assuming that a range from an older guide is still available. The filter is useful for quickly separating inexpensive impulse purchases from higher-priced releases.
3. Narrow by category
The category filter helps you reduce the list to the type of offer you want. Read the category labels shown on the page and select the one that matches your purchase goal. Do not assume that every result is a complete game; inspect the product entry to confirm what is being sold.
4. Use genre when you know what you want to play
If you are shopping for a particular style of game, apply the genre filter after selecting Nintendo Switch. Genre filtering is especially useful when the sale contains a large number of results and you want to browse a narrower set without searching title by title.
5. Check availability and edition filters
The listing also provides availability and edition filters. Availability can help you focus on offers that are currently obtainable through the listing. Edition filtering is useful when a title appears in more than one edition and you want to avoid opening unrelated versions. The exact choices can change, so use the labels displayed in the live interface.
| Filter | What it is for | Useful when |
|---|---|---|
| Platform: Nintendo Switch | Limits results to the Switch platform | The sale page includes offers for multiple platforms |
| Price | Narrows results using the price criteria shown on the page | You have a maximum budget |
| Category | Groups offers using Nintendo’s category labels | You want a particular kind of listing |
| Genre | Limits results to selected genres | You are shopping by gameplay style |
| Availability | Filters according to the availability choices shown by Nintendo | You want offers that can currently be obtained |
| Edition | Separates the editions presented in the sale listing | A game has multiple editions or bundles |
Verify the live game entry before purchasing
Filters help you find candidates, but the individual listing is where you confirm the details that matter. Open a game’s entry and check the information shown there immediately before checkout.

| Check on the live entry | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Current price | Confirms what the offer costs now, after any change to the sale |
| Regular price | Shows the comparison price displayed for the offer |
| Discount | Shows the reduction presented by Nintendo for that listing |
| Offer end date | Tells you the displayed deadline for the promotion |
| Platform compatibility | Confirms that the listing is for Nintendo Switch |
| Product type | Helps distinguish a full game from downloadable content or another edition |
Prices and deadlines in a sale are not durable facts. If you saw a title in an earlier search, saved it in a note, or opened it from an old article, return to the live Nintendo entry and check again. A price can change before the date you expected, and an offer can disappear when its promotion ends.
A practical workflow for finding a specific kind of deal
When you have a budget
- Open the official US Sales & Deals page.
- Select Nintendo Switch in the platform filter.
- Apply the price filter that matches your budget.
- Use category or genre filters if the remaining list is still broad.
- Open promising titles one at a time and verify the current price, regular price, discount, and offer end date.
This sequence prevents you from spending time on games outside your platform or budget before you inspect the details that determine whether an offer is worthwhile.

When you are looking for a genre
- Choose Nintendo Switch under platform.
- Select the relevant genre.
- Use price or availability filters to reduce the results further.
- Check the edition and product type on each title’s entry.
- Confirm the offer end date before deciding whether to buy now or continue comparing.
Genre labels are a discovery aid, not a substitute for reading the product page. A listing’s title and edition information tell you what you are actually selecting.
When you already know the title
- Set the platform filter to Nintendo Switch.
- Use the other filters only if they make the list easier to scan.
- Locate the title and open its live entry.
- Verify the exact edition, current price, discount, and offer end date.
If the title does not appear, remove one narrowing filter at a time and review the resulting list. A restrictive combination of platform, price, category, genre, availability, and edition filters can hide a result that would otherwise be listed.
How to avoid stale prices and missed deadlines
Do not copy figures from an old page
A sale article, browser bookmark, or search preview may preserve a price or deadline from an earlier moment. Use those references only to identify a title, then open the current Nintendo listing and verify the offer. The live entry takes precedence over any previously recorded figure.

Read the deadline as an offer end date
The date displayed on a listing is the offer end date for that promotion. It is not a promise that the same discount will return later, and it does not establish that every region or edition has the same schedule. Make your decision using the date and price currently shown for the specific entry you opened.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsCheck back for changing featured offers
Nintendo’s own guidance is: “Check back often for featured offers and game recommendations, or explore all sales and deals.” That advice matters because the selection is dynamic. If you are not in a hurry, revisit the official listing rather than assuming that today’s featured group is the complete set of future deals.
Distinguish a game from downloadable content or another edition
A sale page can place related products near one another. Before purchasing, read the listing’s title, edition information, and product description to establish whether it is a complete game, downloadable content, or another version. The edition filter can help you separate choices, but the product entry is the final check.
This matters when a low price looks attractive: a discounted add-on is not a substitute for the base game, and a special edition may have different contents from the standard edition. Compare the exact product you opened, not just the franchise name or thumbnail.

The page shows too many unrelated results
Confirm that the platform filter is set to Nintendo Switch. Then add one narrowing filter—usually price, genre, or category—and review the list before adding another. Applying every filter at once can make it harder to see why a title disappeared.

A game you expected is missing
Clear the most restrictive filter first, such as edition or price, and check the broader Nintendo Switch results. Then inspect the title’s live entry if you find it. The absence of a result after filtering does not prove that a game has never been on sale; it only tells you that it is not in the current filtered view.
The displayed price differs from an earlier figure
Use the current entry. Sale prices are changeable listing data, so an earlier number may have belonged to an ended or modified offer.
The deadline has passed
Do not rely on the expired date or an archived page. Return to the Sales & Deals page and search the current Nintendo Switch listing for an active offer. A new promotion, if any, must be verified on its current product entry.
You are shopping outside the United States
The instructions and link above refer to Nintendo’s US storefront. Nintendo’s page, prices, availability, editions, and offer dates are presented for that market. If your Nintendo Account and eShop region are elsewhere, use the Nintendo storefront for your own region and verify the local listing rather than assuming the US offer applies.
Recommended Free Tools
Buying after you find the right offer
Once the live entry shows the game, edition, current price, and offer end date you intend to accept, continue through Nintendo’s normal eShop purchase flow on your compatible device. Finding a sale does not require a gift card; the sale listing is available to browse without one.
Using an eShop gift card is optional
Nintendo’s Retail Offers page mentions Nintendo eShop cards and directs shoppers to shop in Nintendo eShop on a device. A card can be a convenient way to fund a purchase, but it is not needed to identify which Switch games are on sale. Confirm the card’s availability, denomination, and regional compatibility at the time you buy; those details can vary and are separate from the sale listing itself.
A quick pre-purchase checklist
- You opened Nintendo’s official US Sales & Deals page.
- The platform filter is set to Nintendo Switch.
- You used price, category, genre, availability, or edition filters only as needed.
- You opened the individual product entry instead of relying on a search preview.
- The entry shows the current price you expect to pay.
- You checked the regular price and displayed discount.
- You confirmed the offer end date.
- You verified the edition and whether the product is a game or downloadable content.
- You checked the regional storefront when shopping outside the United States.
The shortest reliable method
Open the official Sales & Deals page, choose Nintendo Switch under platform, narrow the results with the available filters, and open each candidate’s live entry. Buy only after confirming the current price, discount details, edition, and offer end date on that entry. Recheck the page whenever you return because Nintendo’s sale inventory is continually updated.
Quick Recap
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
