To play a game you claimed or purchased from the Epic Games Store, open the Epic Games Launcher, select Library, choose the game, and click Install. After the download finishes, select the game’s icon to launch it. Epic says you cannot view or manage your Library or download games on the website; those tasks require the desktop Launcher. Find and install a claimed game

Open the Epic Games Launcher and sign in to the account that claimed or purchased the game.

Select Library in the Launcher.

Find the game and select it. If you have a long list, use Library search; Epic says partial title words can work. You can also use filters to narrow the list.

Choose where to install the game, then click Install.

When the download is complete, click the game’s icon to launch it.
Use the Library, not Store search, to locate games in your account for installation. Store search is for finding game listings. Epic’s website lets you browse and purchase games, but Library management and downloads are handled in the Launcher.
If the game is missing from your Library
First determine whether the title is merely hidden or whether your account no longer has access. Try these checks in order:

Check the account you used to claim it
Make sure you are signed into the Epic account that claimed or purchased the game. If you originally signed in through an external account such as Google or Facebook, try that sign-in option again. If someone sent the game as a gift, it will not appear in the sender’s Library.
Make the Library visible and clear filters
Check the Launcher setting that hides the Game Library. In Library, turn off the Installed filter if it is active; that view shows only games already installed. Reset other filters that might exclude the title, then refresh the Library view. Library search can also find a title from part of its name.
Restart the Launcher and clear its cache
If the account and Library settings look right but the title still does not appear, restart the Epic Games Launcher and clear its webcache, as Epic recommends. This addresses a stale or locally cached view; it does not restore access if the account no longer has the game.

Check whether access has ended or changed

Operating-system compatibility: A game that does not support your operating system cannot be downloaded or launched there.

Temporary beta or press build: Access may end when the limited period for that build expires.

Retail code: If a code is reported as fraudulent and revoked, Epic advises contacting the retailer.
A game claimed during a free promotion is different from a time-limited beta or press build. Epic says, “Previously claimed free games remain in your library permanently.” That statement applies to games claimed through free promotions, not temporary access to a separate build. Epic’s support guidance says the website can be used to browse and purchase games, while downloading and managing the Library requires the Launcher. The support pages do not specify a publication date, so interface labels may change over time.
