Choose the market where you will actually watch
Open the guide for the country in which you are watching, not the country where the series was produced or where a friend found it. Rights are negotiated separately by market. A listing in another country cannot establish that the season is legally available to you.

Record the market beside every result
When comparing options, write the country or market next to the service and season. This simple note prevents a common mistake: combining a season found in one territory with a different season found in another and assuming the combination works locally.
- Market: the country selected in the guide.
- Series: the exact title, including a remake or revival year when relevant.
- Season: the number or named season shown by the provider.
- Offer: subscription, free, ad-supported, rental, or purchase.

Build a season-by-season inventory
Create a small table before making any subscription decision. A show with eight seasons needs eight checks, even when the guide presents one series page. Record each offer exactly as shown.

- Free: the listing indicates no direct payment, but eligibility, registration, or geographic limits may still apply.
- Ad-supported: viewing is offered with advertising rather than an additional rental or purchase fee.
- Rental: you pay for a limited viewing window under the provider’s rental terms.
- Purchase: you pay for the season or episodes under the provider’s purchase and account rules.
Do not treat a rental or purchase button as proof that your subscription includes the season. Conversely, do not subscribe to a new service when a season is already available through a plan you hold or through a legal free or ad-supported option.
Apply subscription and buy/rent filters deliberately
Use the subscription filter when you want only catalog-included options. Use buy/rent filters when you are willing to pay for one missing season instead of adding a recurring service. Check access after signing in
Some catalogs show a title publicly but change the offer after sign-in, plan selection, age settings, or device selection. If you already have an account, sign in before deciding that a season is included.
