Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsAct 2 is reported to contain 35 collectibles: five in “Bravo Squad,” 27 in “Hold the Line,” two in chapter 3, none in chapter 4, and one in chapter 5. The largest search is “Hold the Line,” a semi-open area. Use the War Journal to check your act-by-act progress as you explore; the route below gives precise directions where available and labels the locations whose cues are only broad landmarks.
Act 2 collectible count by chapter
| Chapter | Reported collectibles | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| 1. “Bravo Squad” | 5 | Landmark-based directions are available for all five items. |
| 2. “Hold the Line” | 27 | The semi-open search area; detailed directions are available for 15 named items, while the remaining listed locations have only brief cues. |
| 3. “No Gear Left Behind” | 2 | Both are reported at one location after a cutscene. |
| 4. “The Pilots” | 0 | No collectibles reported. |
| 5. “Overwhelmed” | 1 | A datapad is reported in the hangar on the left. |
The chapter totals and broad locations come from Hervé Atangana’s Jeux.ca collectibles guide, updated October 2, 2026. FPSHUB’s Act 2 guide, dated October 2, 2026, gives detailed cues for the five chapter 1 items and a selection of chapter 2 finds, but identifies itself as a work in progress. The available directions therefore do not establish a complete, verified 35-item turn-by-turn route.

How to track collectibles while exploring
- Check the War Journal: it tracks progress by act, so compare your count as you move between chapters.
- Watch and listen for proximity cues: Jeux.ca reports a familiar COG sound, a brief controller vibration, and a visual alert near a collectible.
- Use the chapter 2 map: according to Jeux.ca, a collectible marker appears after you approach one. Search the area and optional objectives by district rather than following only the main path.
The cues and chapter 2 map behavior above are reported by the French-language Jeux.ca guide; they are not presented as official game documentation.

Chapter 1: “Bravo Squad” — all five reported locations
- COG Helmet With Bullet Hole: At the start of Act 2, continue to the end of the street. Turn left and go behind the ruined bus.
- Sniper Goggles: After fighting across the bridge, enter the first control room. Search the left-hand side at the far end, beside a dead Locust.
- Bridge Worker’s Lunch Kit: Before the control room, find the gantry beneath the bridge. Descend the ladder, turn left instead of continuing forward, and look beside the police-line barriers.
- Thrashball RUSH Magazine: In the East Control Room, look on a small metal caddy at the end opposite the entrance. Milk and coffee are beside it.
- Medic’s First Aid Kit: After the final bridge fight, reach the lower level. Look left, behind the station wagon and in front of the COG truck.
Chapter 2: “Hold the Line” — 27 reported locations
This chapter contains most of Act 2’s collectibles. Explore optional objectives and side streets as well as the main route. The following 15 items have specific location cues in FPSHUB’s walkthrough.

Locations with detailed directions
- Cinema Filmatica Magazine: Shortly after leaving camp, enter Iron Coast Motors. Before starting its side objective, use the main entrance, go left into the back room, then turn right to the counter.
- A Letter Home: During the Trapped Family side objective near the Last Dollar store, clear the enemies and open the garage. Continue through it, then turn right at the corridor.
- Thrashies Cereal Box: After helping the Gears in Timgad Prime, go inside and look left on the counter.
- Kalona Postcard: As you leave the station, turn right down the steps. Pass the pawnbroker and continue into the plaza; look beneath the far side of a stone bench.
- Foreman’s Datapad: Enter the construction site southwest of the station exit. In the main room, assuming you entered from the east, go to the back-left side, turn right into the alcove, and search by the foreman’s body.
- Vandalized Salvaging Poster: Inside Major Burger, check the restroom.
- Emgazi Blitz Display Case: In the northeastern apartment building where a Locust fires from a window, reach the third floor and clear the Drone in the open apartment. Look on a bedroom desk.
- COG Tags of Private Liz Waxman: In that same apartment building, return to the second floor and jump through the window onto scaffolding. Look left by Waxman’s body.
- Birthday Card With Toy Lancer: Near the Bank of Tyrus and collapsed bridge, drop to the walkway and look by a bench on its eastern side.
- Timgad Refinery Recruitment Poster: Beyond the east bridge, enter the building beside the large hotel sign. The poster is on the right wall by the elevator.
- Tales From the Tyran Night Story Book: Find the apartment marked with a “help” sign in the middle of the map. Reach it via the exterior scaffolding; the book is on a table in the main room to the left.
- COG Tags of Specialist Jada Clemmons: Inside Grind Coffee, search behind the counter.
- Kalona Metro Fare Notice: Descend into the metro south of Grind Coffee. Take the notice from the wall opposite the turnstiles.
- COG Tags of Master Sergeant Mark Avamor: Search the loading bay south of the Bank of Tyrus; watch for a Locust sniper above.
- Re: Vibration Complaints: In the Warehouse District, enter the building with the “live music” sign opposite Amberstone Storage Company. The note hangs on a door.
Other chapter 2 items with broad location cues
Jeux.ca names these additional chapter 2 collectibles and gives only brief landmark or event cues, not precise turn-by-turn instructions. Use the in-game name and proximity indicators to confirm a pickup rather than treating the cue as an exact route.

Recovering missed items and campaign completion
Jeux.ca says missed collectibles can be recovered by replaying a chapter and that none is permanently missable. The guide is the source for that claim; the Xbox Wire achievement page does not specify replay behavior.
The campaign-wide “Memories From E-Day” achievement is described by Xbox Wire as: “Find all Collectibles in the Campaign (any difficulty).” This is not an Act 2-only achievement. See Xbox Wire’s achievement list, dated September 9, 2026.
