To work toward a full collectible clear in Resident Evil Requiem, track the six collectible categories separately, follow an area-by-area guide for your difficulty, and keep manual saves as you progress. PowerPyx’s February 26, 2026 guide counts 139 collectible locations; its broader list of 235 items includes weapons, upgrades, weapon parts and key items, so 235 is not the collectible total.
What counts as a collectible—and what does not
PowerPyx reports these category totals in its 2026 guide. They are guide-publisher counts, not an official Capcom checklist.

| Category | Locations reported | Associated achievement or trophy |
|---|---|---|
| Mr. Raccoon Memoriam | 25 | You Little Rascal! |
| Files | 75 | Case Closed |
| Safes | 5 | No Safe is Safe |
| BSAA containers | 3 | Crate Expectations |
| Plant 43 seedlings | 9 | Not Today, Buds! |
| Antique Coins | 22 | No coin-related trophy requirement is established by the guide |
The six categories total 139 reported collectible locations. PowerPyx’s separate 235-item figure also counts key items, upgrades, weapons and weapon parts. It lists 44 models and 56 concept arts bought through the Bonus Menu separately from world pickups. These figures describe different scopes; do not use the larger totals as a checklist of collectible pickups.
Choose the route for your difficulty
The PowerPyx location route is based on Casual/Standard. Its guide warns that some locations differ on Insanity, particularly Antique Coins. A publisher comment says Insanity coin spawns differ and that coins are not required for trophies, so do not follow a Casual/Standard coin route as if it were universal.

For a first pass, follow locations in area order and check each item as you reach it. The guide’s areas run through Wrenwood; Rhodes Hill, including the Care Center, basement and courtyard; East Raccoon City; Raccoon City Center; the Orphanage; Side Street; and ARK. Character labels matter where the route is character-specific. For cleanup, switch to the separate by-type lists and compare them against in-game progress rather than retracing every area blindly.
Track progress in the game and in a checklist
Use the Challenge Menu to monitor collectible challenges and the Files menu to inspect collected files. According to PowerPyx, some challenge trackers only become visible after one completed playthrough. The guide also says Files and Mr. Raccoon progress count across playthroughs. Its separate file guide provides both an in-game file-menu ordering and chronological location guidance, which can help identify a missing entry.

- Record your difficulty and area. Mark whether your route is Casual/Standard or Insanity before following location instructions, especially for coins.
- Check the Challenge Menu. Use its collectible progress where the relevant tracker is available; do not assume every tracker is visible before a first clear.
- Compare files by name or menu order. Open the Files menu and compare entries against a file checklist to narrow down what is missing.
- Use the matching guide format. Follow area order if you are still progressing through the story; use category lists to target a gap once you know which set is incomplete.
- Keep a manual save for each area. The guide says there is no chapter select and warns that items can be missed. Separate area saves provide a possible return point while those saves remain available.
Plan for missables before moving on
PowerPyx warns that there is no chapter select and that collectibles can be missed. Do not count on a post-game chapter menu to revisit a room. If you notice a missing item while still near its area, returning through your current route or loading a retained manual save is safer than assuming it can be selected later.

That does not make every item recoverable in the current run, nor does it establish cross-playthrough carryover for every other category. The guide also says Mr. Raccoon maps can be bought from the Bonus Menu after the first playthrough; treat that as an optional aid, not a substitute for checking your difficulty-specific route.

What the unlockables list can—and cannot—tell you
The named collectible sets connect to the achievements or trophies in the table above; PowerPyx specifically says collecting all 75 files unlocks Case Closed. Its wider item guide also covers weapons, upgrades and weapon parts, but the available information here does not establish their full unlock conditions, costs or a complete unlock table. Do not infer those details from the 235-item count.
PowerPyx’s guide says models and concept arts are bought from the Bonus Menu rather than collected as world pickups. A Game8 search-result excerpt also says purchased weapon unlocks can be collected from Grace’s item box or Leon’s supply box and mentions an unlockable map that marks Mr. Raccoon locations. Because that page was not accessible for verification, treat those details as limited guidance rather than a complete menu walkthrough; precise costs and challenge requirements are not established here.

How to use location guides without spoiling more than you want
Location directions can reveal rooms, route choices and story context. If you want to limit spoilers, begin with area and item labels, then open a full path or puzzle solution only when you need it. File lists are useful for tracking, but reading file text may itself reveal story details.

PowerPyx is the detailed location source behind the counts and route described here; its pages are organized both by area and by item type. Maka91Productions describes a video walkthrough with timestamps organized by area and coverage of collectibles, weapons, upgrades, recipes and achievements, but that description is corroboration of a guide format—not independent verification of exact counts or locations. The figures in this article should therefore be read as guide-publisher reporting, not as an official Capcom dataset.
