- Open the Find a Store page.
- Enter the ZIP code closest to where you will start your trip.
- Submit the search and wait for the nearby store results.
- Review more than one result when several branches appear. The closest result by distance is not necessarily the most convenient destination if another branch has better hours or a more suitable address.
A ZIP code is usually the most precise option when you know the area but do not want to share your device location.
Search by city or state
You can also enter a city or state in the finder. This is useful when you are planning a trip, searching for a store near someone else, or do not know a nearby ZIP code. A broad state search may return many locations, so narrow the list by checking the city and street address on each result.

Use the location option
The finder offers an option to use your current location. If your browser asks for location permission, allow it only if you are comfortable doing so. If you decline permission, enter a ZIP code, city, or state manually; the locator still supports those search methods.
Read each result instead of assuming nearby stores share a schedule
Every result should be treated as a separate branch record. Check the full street address, the displayed hours, and the open or closed status on the specific listing you intend to visit. Burlington’s retrieved locator results showed that schedules can differ among locations, so a time that works for one branch cannot safely be applied to another.
What to verify on a listing
- Street address: Confirm the number, street, city, state, and ZIP code before starting navigation.
- Hours: Read the schedule attached to that individual store, including the day of the week relevant to your visit.
- Open status: Use the displayed status as a current indication, but recheck it if your visit is later in the day or on another date.
- Directions control: Select Get Directions only after you have chosen the correct branch.
Compare multiple branches systematically
When the finder returns several stores, compare them using the information actually shown in the results. This prevents a common mistake: choosing a familiar shopping center or the first result without checking whether its hours fit your plan.

Get directions to the chosen Burlington store
After confirming the listing, select Get Directions. Burlington provides this action on nearby store results. It passes the selected destination to a mapping or navigation service so you can plan a route from your current position or another starting point.
- Choose the store result whose address and hours you verified.
- Select Get Directions.
- In the navigation screen, check that the destination address matches the Burlington listing—not merely the name of a shopping center.
- Enter or confirm your starting point, then choose the travel mode and route that suit you.
- Before leaving, review the estimated arrival time against the store’s displayed closing time. Allow extra time for parking, walking through a shopping center, or an unfamiliar entrance.
If the directions link opens a map in a new tab or app, that is normal browser behavior. The important check is that the map’s destination and the locator’s street address agree.
Why confirming the destination matters
A store name can appear more than once in a metropolitan area, and a navigation app may suggest a similarly named place. Comparing the complete address protects against starting a route to the wrong branch. If the map proposes multiple destinations, select the one that exactly matches the address shown in Burlington’s result.

Browse by state and city with Burlington’s directory
If you prefer menus to a location search, open the official Burlington Store Directory. It organizes locations by state and then city.

- Choose the relevant city from the city list.
- Open the store page or listing for the branch you are considering.
- Read its address and hours, then use the available directions action or copy the verified address into your navigation app.
The directory is especially useful when researching a destination in advance or when the location-based finder is not returning the area you expect. It is a browsing alternative, not a reason to skip checking the individual branch’s schedule.
Check hours close to your visit
Store hours are location-specific information. Reopen the exact store result near the time you plan to leave, particularly if you are visiting on a weekend, traveling to a different city, or arriving close to opening or closing.

The available Burlington locator material does not establish a single, company-wide holiday-hours policy. Therefore, do not infer holiday opening or closing times from a regular weekly schedule. For a holiday visit, check the selected store listing as close to the visit as practical and be prepared for the displayed information to change.
Use the date and time in your plan
Write down the branch address and the hours for the specific day you intend to go. If another person is driving, send that person the full address rather than only a store name. This reduces the chance of using an old map destination or the hours of a different branch.
Troubleshoot common locator problems
The search returns too many stores
Replace a broad state or city search with a more specific ZIP code. Then compare the returned addresses and schedules. If you still have several choices, select the branch that best matches your starting point and planned arrival time.
No nearby result appears
Try the city name instead of a ZIP code, or search the surrounding city or state. Then use the state directory to browse locations manually. Check the spelling of the place name and remove extra terms that are not part of the city, state, or ZIP code.
The location option does not work
Browser location access can be blocked, unavailable, or inaccurate indoors. Enter a ZIP code or city manually instead of repeatedly retrying location permission. A manual search also lets you plan for a future trip from a different starting point.
The hours look wrong or conflict with another listing
First confirm that you are looking at the same street address. If the addresses differ, you are comparing separate branches and should use the hours attached to the branch you will visit. If the address is the same but the status and schedule appear inconsistent, refresh the official listing and check it again near the planned visit; do not substitute a neighboring store’s hours.

Stop navigation and compare the map destination with the complete address on Burlington’s listing. Search the full street address manually in your map service if necessary, then verify the result before starting the trip.
