The patchwork villager from Pumpkin Town is Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. If she is already in your Valley, find and speak with her to complete the current Haunting Elegance Star Path duties. If she is not unlocked yet, you’ll need to start her separate quest, “The Woven Bridge.”
How to find Sally for the Haunting Elegance Star Path
The clue identifies Sally; it does not point to a particular house or fixed spot. If you have already unlocked her, look for her around the Valley or use the map and character-tracking options available in your game. The October 5, 2026 guide to the duty says to find and speak with her, but does not name a fixed location. Destructoid’s current Sally duty guide provides the event steps.

Complete the hangout duty
- Find Sally and speak with her.
- Choose “Let’s hang out!”
- Keep her with you for 30 minutes to meet the duty requirement.
Complete the favorite-gift duty
Give Sally one of her daily requested items. The request can be checked in dialogue or on the Collection page. A gift that is not one of her current requested items will not meet this specific duty.

How to unlock Sally if she is not in your Valley
Sally’s unlock quest is “The Woven Bridge.” The Dreamlight Valley Wiki, a community-maintained source, lists these prerequisites:

According to the wiki’s Sally quest information, Jack sends a letter about spiders in Anna’s Castle. After receiving it, enter the castle to begin “The Woven Bridge,” then follow the quest objectives. Official pages reviewed for this guide do not give a complete current walkthrough of every objective, so the listed trigger and prerequisites are the substantiated steps rather than a full quest script.
If you cannot collect the spiderwebs
Gameloft has an older support entry documenting a spiderweb collection problem during “The Woven Bridge.” That entry does not establish whether the problem remains or has been fixed in the current game build. If you encounter it, check Gameloft’s Disney Dreamlight Valley Help Center for current support guidance rather than assuming the old issue is still active.

How Sally’s quest relates to the October 2026 event
The Haunting Elegance Star Path clue is an event duty that asks you to interact with Sally; it is separate from the quest required to unlock her. The seasonal Season of Scares schedule is separate, too: Gameloft’s September 21, 2026 announcement says the third weekly Oogie Boogie quest was scheduled for October 7, 2026, and players who start the first quest before November 4 can complete the remaining quests at their own pace. Oogie Boogie and Zero unlock through those quests, not through Sally’s “The Woven Bridge.” See the official Steam announcement for the event schedule.
