What older Halloween guides can—and cannot—tell you
In 2022, Rockstar described hundreds of Jack O’Lanterns appearing across Los Santos as a trick-or-treat activity. That historical description is not confirmation of the number or distribution in 2026, so older maps and counts should not be treated as current without fresh verification.
Challenge rewards can also depend on the event’s time windows. As one historical example, Rockstar Support said in 2025 that players had to complete the first three Halloween Weekly Challenges during their respective Challenge periods to receive the Vinewood Undead Collection; Rockstar said the collection would be awarded within 72 hours after all three were completed. That was a 2025 requirement, not the 2026 challenge schedule.
