Select the country or region you serve, filter for the distributor role and the relevant product category, then contact the listed companies through their own websites. Intel does not sell directly to end users; it routes products through Intel Authorized Distributors.
Use the directory to discover current partners, not to assume that a company has stock, serves your account type, or offers acceptable commercial terms. Confirm those details with each candidate. If you need to verify whether a former seller was authorized in the past, contact Intel Customer Support and provide the seller’s name.

What to do first when your Intel partner closes
A closed reseller can leave you without a purchasing contact, account records, territory coverage, or a reliable route for new orders. The fastest replacement process is to separate three questions:
- Who is currently in Intel’s channel? Use the live Distributor Partner Directory.
- Can the candidate serve your specific requirement? Ask about product scope, territory, stock, onboarding, payment, and delivery.
- Was the former seller authorized? Ask Intel Customer Support for a historical authorization check rather than relying on an old listing or cached search result.
Have these details ready before you search:
- Your purchasing country and, if relevant, the delivery country or territory.
- The Intel product family or category you need, such as components, systems, or another channel service.
- Whether you buy as an individual, business, system builder, public-sector organization, or another account type.
- Approximate quantities, required delivery dates, and whether you need recurring supply.
- Your legal company name, billing address, tax or resale information, and any internal vendor-onboarding requirements.
- The closed partner’s legal and trading names, website, account number, invoices, and last known Intel contact, if you are checking its past status.
This preparation matters because a directory search can identify several companies without telling you which one can actually transact with your organization.

Use Intel’s official Distributor Partner Directory
Intel identifies its Distributor Partner Directory as the route to current Intel Authorized Distributors and Intel Approved Suppliers. Open the directory on Intel’s website and begin with the market where your business is located or where the goods will be delivered.
Step 1: Select the country or region
- Open Intel’s Distributor Partner Directory.
- Choose the country or region that matches your purchasing or delivery market.
- Review the regional results before applying narrower filters. A company headquartered elsewhere may not support your territory.
Intel’s business-purchasing guidance tells Partner Alliance members to select their country, view regional distributors, and use the distributor’s website link to make contact. The directory is therefore a discovery tool; the transaction takes place with the distributor.
Step 2: Apply the relevant filters
The directory provides filters that can narrow a broad result set:
| Filter | How to use it | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Limit results to the country, region, or territory you need served. | That the company delivers to every address in that market. |
| Type | Select the distributor or supplier role when that is your requirement. | That the company is a retail reseller for every Intel item. |
| Product | Choose the relevant Intel product family. | Current inventory, pricing, or lead time. |
| Components | Use component-related categories when you need individual Intel components. | That the candidate supports your volume, packaging, or technical specification. |
| Category | Narrow the business category to reduce unrelated partner results. | That the result is authorized for a product not shown in its profile. |
| Region | Check regional coverage where the directory offers it. | That a regional listing overrides local import, tax, or delivery constraints. |
If the directory returns no obvious match, broaden one filter at a time rather than choosing a random seller from a web search. Record the filters used and the date you checked them; partner listings and statuses can change.
Step 3: Open each candidate’s website
For every plausible result, follow the website link shown in the directory. Look for a business-sales or account-enquiry route, not only a consumer shopping page. Send the same requirement to several candidates so that replies can be compared on equivalent terms.

Do not treat the presence of a company in a search result as a quotation, stock confirmation, territory commitment, or guarantee that it will open an account for you. Intel’s directory does not establish those deal-specific conditions.
Distributor, reseller, and other partner roles are not interchangeable
The word “reseller” is often used broadly, but Intel’s partner listings distinguish different roles. If you need a company to supply Intel products through a purchasing channel, begin with the distributor role. Other partner types may provide services rather than inventory.

|---|---|---|
| Distributor | You need a channel company to quote, sell, and arrange delivery of Intel products. | Commercial terms and stock still require direct confirmation. |
| Builder | You need a company that builds systems or integrated products. | A builder may sell a finished system rather than individual components. |
| Solution Integrator | You need deployment, integration, or a broader technology solution. | Integration capability does not by itself establish distribution rights. |
| Independent Software Vendor | You need software that works with or supports Intel-based solutions. | An ISV is not a component purchasing route. |
| Cloud/Comms Service Provider | You need hosted, cloud, communications, or managed services. | This role is a service relationship, not necessarily a product supply channel. |
Filter for the role that matches the transaction you need. Contact a different partner type only when your requirement is genuinely a service, system, software, or cloud relationship rather than a distributor purchase.
What to ask a replacement distributor
A directory listing is only the beginning. Use a short, consistent qualification message so that every candidate answers the practical questions that determine whether it can replace the closed partner.
Territory and account coverage
- Do you sell and deliver in our country and delivery territory?
- Can you supply our organization type and billing location?
- Are there minimum order, export, import, or regional account requirements?
Product scope
- Which Intel product family or component category can you quote?
- Can you source the exact part numbers, configurations, or quantities we require?
- Do you support recurring orders, scheduled releases, or only one-time purchases?
Availability and lead time
- Is the requested item physically in stock, allocated, or available only by order?
- What is the estimated lead time, and from which location would it ship?
- How long will the quotation remain valid?
Onboarding and payment
- What documents are required to open an account?
- Do you offer the payment method and credit terms our procurement process requires?
- Are taxes, freight, duties, and handling charges included or billed separately?
Sourcing and authorization
- How will you document the source of the Intel products?
- Can you confirm that the transaction is through your current Intel-authorized channel status?
- Who is the escalation contact if an order, shipment, or authorization question arises?
Ask for written answers and retain the quotation, product identifiers, promised dates, and contact names. Those records make it easier to compare candidates and to resolve later discrepancies.

How to compare several directory results
When more than one candidate looks suitable, compare them against the same requirements rather than choosing the first name returned. The following framework keeps the decision focused on your actual risk:
| Decision area | Questions to record | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Market fit | Does the company cover our country, delivery address, and account type? | Written territory confirmation and onboarding requirements. |
| Product fit | Can it quote the needed Intel family, category, and part numbers? | Itemized quotation or written sourcing response. |
| Supply reliability | Is stock available now, allocated, or subject to a lead time? | Stock status, estimated ship date, and quotation validity. |
| Commercial fit | Do payment, credit, currency, tax, freight, and return terms work for you? | Account terms and a complete delivered-cost explanation. |
| Authorization confidence | Can the company explain its current Intel channel status? | Its current directory listing and any clarification obtained from Intel. |
| Operational fit | Can it support recurring orders, technical questions, and escalations? | Named contacts, service process, and ordering procedure. |
Intel’s directory supports discovery, but it does not independently verify a candidate’s current inventory or commercial terms. Treat each item above as a question for the candidate distributor, not as an assumption based on the listing.
How to check whether a seller is authorized
For a current seller
Use Intel’s live directory as the primary check. Search the company under the correct country or region and review the role, product, and category information shown at the time you are making the purchase. Save the result or note the date because partner status is not permanent.
Do not use an old PDF, a third-party directory, a cached search result, or a seller’s unsupported claim as current confirmation. If the company is absent, appears under a different legal name, or the result conflicts with what the seller says, ask Intel Customer Support for clarification before placing a material order.
For the closed or former partner
Intel’s support guidance says that questions about whether a seller previously held Intel Authorized Distributor status should go to Intel Customer Support. Provide the seller’s name and explain that you are checking its past authorization. A historical confirmation is different from permission to continue buying from that company or from any successor entity.

Keep the former partner’s legal name, trading name, invoices, email domains, and dates of supply together. These details help Intel distinguish a company that closed from a business that changed names, merged, or moved to another channel status.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why you should recheck Intel’s list before ordering
Partner status can change after your first search. Intel published a 2025 notice recording distributors or suppliers that were removed from its network or moved to another status. That notice is a reminder that historical lists are not a substitute for the current directory.
Recheck the official listing at two points:
- When you first qualify a replacement partner.
- Immediately before a significant or recurring purchase, especially if the quotation is old or the order will ship across borders.
If the company’s name, role, or region has changed, pause the transaction and ask Intel or the distributor for an explanation. Do not infer that a similarly named company is the same legal entity.
A practical recovery workflow
- Document the closure. Save the former partner’s notices, open quotations, order numbers, invoices, and contact details.
- Define the replacement requirement. Write down the country, delivery territory, Intel product category, quantities, timing, and account type.
- Search Intel’s Distributor Partner Directory. Select the country or region and apply location, type, product, components, category, and region filters as appropriate.
- Shortlist several candidates. Use the distributor role for product purchasing and keep other partner roles separate.
- Contact each company through its listed website. Send the same concise requirements and ask for an account-opening process and quotation.
- Validate the answers. Confirm stock, lead time, territory, onboarding, payment, delivery, sourcing, and escalation contacts directly with each candidate.
- Check authorization. Verify the current listing, and contact Intel Customer Support if the status is unclear or if you need the former seller’s historical status.
- Choose and document the route. Retain the directory check date, written authorization clarification, quote, terms, and approved vendor record.
- Recheck before repeat orders. Repeat the directory and status check when the relationship, product, region, or timing changes.
Common failure modes and how to correct them
Choosing a local seller from a general web search
A nearby seller may be a downstream reseller, broker, or unrelated retailer. Correct this by starting with Intel’s directory and asking the seller to identify its current channel role and sourcing route.
Assuming “authorized” means “in stock”
Authorization and inventory are separate questions. Ask for a dated stock and lead-time response for the exact items you need.
Best Value
Using the wrong country filter
A company listed for another market may not be able to invoice or deliver to your location. Search the purchasing and delivery markets carefully and ask about cross-border coverage.
Confusing a partner role with a distributor role
A builder, solution integrator, software vendor, or cloud provider may be useful for a different project but may not sell components. Select the distributor role when the requirement is product procurement.
Treating a former listing as current
Listings and statuses change. Recheck the live directory and use Intel Customer Support for uncertainty about a company’s status or history.

Expecting Intel to take the order directly
Intel Support states: “Intel doesn’t sell directly to end users. We only sell our products through Intel® Authorized Distributors.” This statement appears in Intel Support’s Does Intel Sell Direct to the Customer?, last reviewed February 14, 2025. Your practical route is therefore an authorized channel partner, with Intel support used for status questions rather than direct order placement.
What Intel can and cannot establish for you
| Intel’s official directory or support can establish | You must establish with the distributor |
|---|---|
| Which current partners are listed for a selected market and role. | Whether the exact item is in stock or available by a particular date. |
| The directory’s location, type, product, components, category, and region information. | Pricing, currency, taxes, freight, payment terms, credit, and returns. |
| Guidance to contact regional distributors through their websites. | Account onboarding, delivery coverage, order minimums, and recurring supply. |
| Support for a question about a former seller’s past authorization when you provide its name. | The seller’s legal contracting entity, sourcing documentation, and operational service level. |
This distinction prevents the most common procurement mistake: treating a directory profile as if it were a binding commercial offer.
Questions to resolve before you place the first replacement order
- Is the company listed for the correct country or region today?
- Is its listed role actually distributor or supplier for the transaction you need?
- Does its product coverage include the Intel family and exact items you require?
- Has it confirmed stock status or a lead time in writing?
- Can it legally invoice and deliver to your organization and address?
- Are the payment, tax, freight, currency, and return terms acceptable?
- Do you know whom to contact if authorization, shipment, or product questions arise?
- If the former partner’s history matters, have you asked Intel Customer Support using the former seller’s full name?
If any answer is missing, keep the candidate in qualification rather than treating it as a confirmed replacement.
Bottom line for a closed Intel channel relationship
Use Intel’s current Distributor Partner Directory, select the correct country or region, filter for the distributor role and relevant product category, and contact the listed companies directly. Compare candidates on territory, product fit, stock, lead time, onboarding, payment, delivery, and sourcing. Verify current status in the live directory; for a former partner’s authorization history, contact Intel Customer Support with the seller’s name. Because Intel does not sell directly to end users and partner status can change, a current directory check and direct commercial confirmation are essential before ordering.
