During the Rescue Mission quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, inspect five green decorations inside Oogie Boogie’s Mirror Lair. The objects are a polar bear, hanging plant, lantern, potions and pedestal. Two are on the left side of the room, one is on the right, and the remaining two are around the central counter and lava pit.
Before you enter the Mirror Lair
This objective appears in Oogie Boogie’s Rescue Mission quest. The Dreamlight Valley Wiki lists the quest as unlocking on October 14, 2026, and the event as running until November 4, 2026. Those dates apply to this event schedule and may change after a game update; the first quest in the sequence must have been accepted before the event is removed.

Enter the Mirror Lair from the active quest, then investigate each green decoration. Finding the object is not enough: interact with every item so the objective registers. The five required objects are ordinary-looking lair furniture and fixtures altered with green coloring, and they are not all equally visible.

1. Inspect the green polar bear
From the first-floor entrance, move toward the left corner. The bear is sitting on a couch near the stairs that lead toward Oogie Boogie’s wheel. Approach the couch until the interaction prompt appears, then inspect the green bear.

2. Inspect the hanging potted plant
Stay on the left side and check the corner beside the stairs. The plant hangs above the surrounding furniture, so sweep your camera upward as well as across the floor. Interact with the green hanging pot when it highlights.
3. Inspect the green lantern
Go to the left-side counter, where the Snake and Spider Stew is displayed. The lantern is attached to the wall nearby, close to the red and purple skeletons. It is a wall object rather than something sitting on the counter, so check the wall line behind the counter.

4. Inspect the green potions
Cross toward the room’s middle and locate the large lava pit. Behind it, at the counter with the cash register, are the green potions. Move around the pit if the register or counter blocks your angle, then interact with the potion set.

5. Inspect the green pedestal
Finish on the right side of the lair. In the corner near a couch and the crafting station, look for the green pedestal. Walk close enough for its prompt and interact with it to complete the set.

How to spot the harder decorations
The five objects do not use identical shades. Some glow a vivid neon green and stand out immediately; others are a darker green that blends into the lair’s normal scenery. If an item is not obvious, search by landmark rather than color alone:
- On the left, check both the couch and the stair corner before moving to the counter.
- For the lantern, aim the camera at the wall near the Snake and Spider Stew instead of scanning only floor furniture.
- For the potions, inspect the counter behind the central lava pit and beside the cash register.
- On the right, examine the space around the couch and crafting station for the pedestal.
Interaction prompts can be easier to trigger by approaching from a different angle, especially around the lava pit, counter edges and hanging plant. After each successful interaction, verify that the quest objective advances before leaving the area.

What happens after all five are inspected
Once every decoration has been examined, the Rescue Mission investigation advances. The next part moves the quest toward confronting Oogie Boogie about the Ghosties connected to the glowing decor. If the objective does not complete, return to each landmark and interact again; one of the darker green items is usually the missed decoration.

Why can’t I see one of the required items?
Several decorations are dark green and blend into the scenery. Search the listed landmarks carefully, including wall space and corners, and approach from another angle until the interaction prompt appears.
