Search the landmarks below before moving on to the next objective; several items are easy to pass during combat. The locations come from three third-party guides, not an official collectible map, so use the nearby landmark cues rather than treating every exact placement as certain.

Chapter 1: Emergence — 3 collectibles
1. Monster Jaw
After the first enemy encounter, search the early street around the news kiosk. DayOne describes the item as being on an enemy corpse after the first melee fight, while other guides point to the nearby street or kiosk area. Check the surroundings before following the next objective. One guide calls it “Monster Claw” rather than “Monster Jaw.”

Once you enter the maintenance tunnels, check the room or opening on the left. The helmet is described near a body or lockers.

3. Front Page of the Kalona Times
After helping the civilian trapped under rubble, cross the street to the cafe or bakery. Search the kitchen, counter, and back area. DayOne spells the place name “Kelona Times”; other guides use “Kalona Times.”
Chapter 2: Survival of the Fittest — 4 collectibles
1. KPD Police Bulletin
In the police station’s first room or bullpen, inspect the desk or table on the left before heading deeper into the building.
2. Bloodied Police Chief’s Badge
When you reach the room where the police chief’s body is pinned to the wall, search beside or below the body.

Inside the Gears recruitment center, look around the back wall and reception desk, near the medals or COG display.

4. Try On Pilot Helmet
Inspect the helmet display in the same recruitment center, near the pamphlet; one guide identifies a helmet in the row. The guides differ on whether the pamphlet or helmet comes first in their lists, so verify both before leaving.
Chapter 3: A Gear in Need — 2 collectibles
1. Tomatoes, Canned
In the Pay and Save supermarket, search the first warehouse area along the left side. Check the boxes and any cardboard tray on the floor.
2. Broken Lancer Bayonet
After the Tai sequence, inspect the Locust bodies near the produce sign and store exit. One guide places the bayonet on the body to the right of the produce sign when facing the exit; other descriptions are less precise. Search the nearby bodies before you leave the supermarket.
Chapter 4: Back in the Fold — 4 collectibles
1. Front-page of the Tyrant Chronicle
At the chapter start, use the large “lounge” sign as a landmark and search the adjacent alley.

On the way to the clinic, turn right into the nearby alley and check the wall.
3. Landa Memorial Medical Supplies
Inside the clinic, find the room with the exit doors and inspect its table before opening the doors to leave.
4. COG tags of Private Brick Rosso
After fighting your way out of the clinic, check behind a police car near the body.
How to clean up a missed collectible
DayOne reports that you can start a new save at a selected chapter, which may help you revisit a section without replaying all of Act 1. Check the in-game collectible progress display, if available, and use the chapter tally to identify where to return. Showgamer also reports a proximity hint—a slight controller vibration and a quiet Gears melody—but treat it as a backup cue: combat can make it easy to miss.
The game’s full release date is October 6, 2026, according to Xbox. As of October 4, 2026, that date is still two days away.
