If Chrome does not show a password suggestion, tap Passwords above the keyboard and choose the saved account. These are separate problems: one is verification, the other is finding the credential.
Use your Android screen lock as the fallback

If Chrome does not suggest the password
A missing suggestion does not necessarily mean the password is gone. With the sign-in field active, tap Passwords above the keyboard and select the account you want to use. Google Chrome Help: Fix issues with passwords and passkeys — Android
Check whether the saved entry is in the right account

Confirm that the saved entry matches the site you are signing in to and that Chrome is using the Google Account where the password was saved. Review Chrome’s extra verification setting
Chrome’s Android setting for additional verification is at Settings > Passwords and autofill > Autofill settings. Look for Verify it’s you when filling sensitive info. Google says this extra authentication is on by default unless turned off. Disabling it removes the biometric or screen-lock verification prompt for sensitive autofill, so try the screen-lock fallback first if you want to retain that added protection. On a computer, the setting is different
Do not use the Android instructions as universal Chrome steps. On a PC, Chrome’s password manager has a separate Use Windows Hello when filling passwords option; on a Mac, it is Use your screen lock when filling passwords.
