For an LG appliance in the United States, start by checking the warranty for your exact model, then submit a warranty repair request through LG’s online service flow. The model’s warranty terms determine whether the problem is covered; the online request starts the service process but does not itself confirm coverage or an appointment.
Check the warranty for your exact model
Go to LG Warranty Information and search for the appliance model. LG says its limited warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal and proper use when the product was lawfully purchased, installed, and used in the United States, including U.S. territories. The warranty period begins on the original delivery or purchase date.

Get the details ready
Before starting, locate the appliance’s model and serial numbers and note its purchase or delivery date and place of purchase. Write a brief description of the symptom and when it occurs. LG’s product-registration instructions also request the purchase price; these are useful details to have available, though LG’s public service pages do not establish that every item is required for every repair request.

- Open LG’s U.S. Request a Repair page and choose the warranty repair pathway.
- Select the appliance and the symptom that best matches the issue.
- Enter your contact details and the requested product information, then review and confirm the request.
- Track the request online. LG says the next steps include reviewing available service dates with an LG Support Representative.
Submitting the request is not a guarantee of coverage or a confirmed service date. Keep your request details handy in case LG or the service provider needs to clarify the problem or arrange access.
Track the request and confirm the appointment
Use LG’s repair tracking page to check the request. LG cautions that the tracker may not show a different or additional appointment arranged directly with the service provider; contact that provider to confirm the actual date and time.

Prepare the appliance for access where relevant. LG notes that a TV may need to be unmounted and a washer or dryer unstacked before service. Its tracking page gives a typical parts arrival estimate of 1–5 business days after shipment. That estimate concerns parts transit only; it is not a promised appointment date or repair-completion time.
