One current guide advises skipping nature-focused areas and research-facility machines when sheet metal is the objective. That does not prove those objects can never produce the item; it means they are lower-priority searches according to the route advice available for this resource.

Commissary Supermarket on Pendola Pass
For a repeatable Pendola Pass routine, start with the Commissary Supermarket. The shelves provide a compact search pattern: move shelf by shelf, collect any sheet metal, and then inspect nearby loose-loot positions before leaving. Searching the entire cluster in one pass is more efficient than repeatedly returning to a single shelf while other containers remain unchecked.
Use the supermarket as the anchor for a longer route only when the next stop fits your extraction plan. If your intended exit is in the opposite direction, the extra travel may expose you to more risk without producing more sheet metal. The guides establish the location as a priority, not a requirement to cross the whole map every raid.

Old Town
Old Town is a secondary Pendola Pass target. Treat it as a follow-up after the supermarket or as the opening stop when your spawn is nearby. Search loose loot first, then industrial containers such as crates, lockers, and tool trolleys. Do not assume that clearing one building means the area is exhausted; the relevant objects can be distributed across several structures.
Almatera Station
Almatera Station adds a transport-themed search area to the Pendola Pass route. Check train seats and other loose-loot positions, then inspect containers around the station. It is most sensible when the station lies along your existing path to extraction or when your entry point makes it closer than the supermarket.
Loading Bay on Stella Montis
The most aggressive farming option in the available guides is Loading Bay on Stella Montis. The described approach is direct: reach the bay, search shelves in open shipping containers, and check breachable containers in the same area. Concentrating on one industrial cluster reduces time spent moving between unrelated points.

The ARC Raiders Hub guide, updated October 12, 2026, reports that one player named Nafburger collected 61 sheet metal in a single raid on this route. That number is useful as evidence that the area can produce a large haul, but it is not a drop-rate statistic, a typical result, or a promised reward. Your run may produce substantially less.

A step-by-step sheet-metal farming run
- Confirm the need. Check the active project or crafting requirement and note how much sheet metal is actually missing. This prevents a long raid for a small remaining amount.
- Choose the map and anchor. Pick Pendola Pass if the Commissary Supermarket, Old Town, or Almatera Station fits your route. Pick Stella Montis when Loading Bay is practical for your entry and extraction plan.
- Set a search order before entering. For the supermarket, clear shelves first and then nearby loose loot. For Loading Bay, clear open shipping containers before breachable containers. In Old Town or Almatera Station, move from loose loot to industrial containers.
- Prioritize the listed object types. Look at shelves, tables, train seats, cars, crates, lockers, and tool trolleys instead of spending the run on nature spots or research-facility machines.
- Collect and reassess during the run. Once you have enough for the project, decide whether additional searching is worth the remaining travel and raid exposure. The guides do not provide a guaranteed value for another container, so continuing is a risk decision rather than a mathematical threshold.
- Follow the extraction plan. Keep the route compact and leave through the extraction path you planned. A large reported haul is useful only if you successfully retain it.
- Record what worked for your own route. Because loot is random, note which locations were convenient and how much you actually recovered over several raids. Use that personal record to choose between a short Pendola Pass circuit and a direct Stella Montis attempt.
How to make the route efficient
Use density, not distance, as your primary criterion
Sheet metal searches are more efficient when several eligible objects are close together. A shelf cluster, container yard, or station section lets you inspect many targets without spending the raid crossing empty terrain. The location names are useful because they identify industrial concentrations; they do not make every object inside them a sheet-metal spawn.
Match the route to your entry and extraction
A theoretically productive location can be a poor practical choice if reaching it consumes most of the raid. Compare the distance from your spawn, the direction of your planned extraction, and whether the next target lies on the way. A shorter route with fewer searches can be preferable to a long detour when you only need a small quantity.

Clear containers systematically
Use a fixed sweep pattern: left to right across shelves, then the surrounding loose-loot positions, then nearby crates, lockers, tool trolleys, and breachable containers. This avoids revisiting the same object and makes it easier to tell whether an area was genuinely cleared.
Do not chase the 61-item report
The 61-sheet-metal result from one Loading Bay raid is an upper-end anecdote, not a target you should budget around. Planning every run around that number can lead to unnecessary travel and exposure after you already have enough material. Treat it as proof that a high-yield run is possible, not as an expected outcome.

There are two practical approaches: spend time in a raid searching for sheet metal, or spend Seeds through Celeste when the vendor offers the material. The better choice depends on the amount you need, your Seeds balance, and how convenient the relevant route is.

Before buying, open Celeste’s current vendor screen and compare the displayed offer with the exact project requirement. Vendor inventory, prices, or project quantities can change, and the available reporting does not verify a permanent per-item price. If the screen does not offer the amount you need, farming remains the fallback.

- Supported: loose loot and industrial containers are the main search targets described by current guides.
- Supported: Commissary Supermarket, Old Town, and Almatera Station are recommended Pendola Pass locations.
- Supported: Loading Bay is described as a fast Stella Montis farm, with one reported 61-item raid.
- Supported: Celeste is reported to sell sheet metal, with 24 Seeds associated with the materials for the Sheltered Retreat project.
- Not established: an official spawn table, a guaranteed container, a published drop rate, an average haul, or a standard time-per-item figure.
These limits matter when comparing routes. The recommendation to farm rather than spend Seeds in the ARC Raiders Hub guide is the author’s judgment, not an independently measured cost-efficiency study. MobilesTalk likewise cautions that loot is random and that published drop rates do not guarantee a haul.
Troubleshooting a poor run
You found no sheet metal at the supermarket
That result is consistent with random loot. Continue to Old Town or Almatera Station if the route remains practical, or extract and try again rather than searching unrelated nature spots for a guaranteed answer. A single empty shelf does not disprove the location recommendation.
Loading Bay produced far less than 61
The 61 figure came from one reported raid. Use the same container order on another run, but judge the route by your own recovered amount and travel cost. Do not treat the guide’s anecdote as a minimum.
You are spending too many Seeds
Check whether you are interpreting the 24-Seed report as a unit price. It was described in connection with buying the materials needed for Sheltered Retreat. Reopen the current Celeste offer and compare it with the exact amount still required before confirming a purchase.
The route is taking too long
Shorten the circuit to the nearest industrial cluster and align it with extraction. A route that visits every named location is not automatically efficient; the guides present them as options, not mandatory checkpoints.
