The most reliable Aion 2 Abyss Points (AP) routine is to clear the repeatable, low-risk activities first: Daily Duties, active Supply Requests, weekly Command quests and Season Missions. Add event rewards such as Shugo Festival keys, then use arena, rifts or open-Abyss farming only when the extra risk fits your gear, group and time. Reward amounts and activity limits can change, so treat the AP shown in your live activity panels as authoritative.
What Abyss Points are used for
Abyss Points are a progression currency spent in the Abyss Store. Current guides describe the store as a source of gear and other progression items, so your efficient farming plan should begin with the purchase that advances your character now rather than with a generic “best” list. The AION 2 Help Abyss content guide explains the Supply Request and store systems, while the Raid Relay AP guide records several rewards from a global-client data check.

- [Deep Bass with Clear Vocals] High-performance drivers produce punchy bass while keeping vocals clean and detailed for everyday listening.
- Open Daily Duties and Supply Requests. Record the AP reward, item requirement and remaining limit shown in the client.
- Complete Daily Duties. They are presented by the guides as a predictable baseline and do not require you to win an open-world player fight.
- Check the active request board before spending resources. Turn in only items that match the currently listed Emergency or Weekly request, or the active seasonal crafting and boss request.
- Claim weekly and seasonal work. Add Command quests, Season Missions and any available seasonal track to your route so a weekly reset does not catch you with unfinished objectives.
- Take limited-time event rewards. Shugo Festival activity is one reported non-PvP source; it is worth doing when the event is visible and accessible to your character.
- Choose optional combat routes. Arena, PvP commissions, rifts and open-Abyss farming can add AP, but select them only after checking enemy-player risk, death rules and the value of the reward shown in-game.
- Spend AP against a stated build goal. Inspect the Abyss Store after your run and buy the item that removes your current progression bottleneck.
Route comparison: risk, cadence and cost
| Route | Enemy-player risk | Reward predictability | Refresh or availability | Main cost or limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Daily Duties | Low when completed in ordinary PvE areas | High relative to open-Abyss farming; verify the displayed AP | Daily activity; the exact limit is client-dependent | Time and the objectives required by the duty |
| Emergency Supply Requests | Usually low while gathering or turning in items | Displayed reward is clear, but values can change | Reported daily refresh | Farmable world items; do not consume them before checking the board |
| Weekly Supply Requests | Usually low during the turn-in | Displayed reward is clear, with a larger item requirement | Reported weekly refresh | Weekly materials and opportunity cost |
| Season: Crafting requests | Low at the board; production location may vary | Check the active seasonal request | Season-length track | Crafted equipment and its materials |
| Season: Boss requests | Depends on the boss location and group | Check the active seasonal request | Season-length track | Boss-drop sets or equipment |
| Command quests | Varies by zone; generally controllable | Reward shown per quest | Weekly allocation is reported for some quests | Kinah and quest time |
| Season Missions | Depends on mission objectives | Milestone reward is shown in the season panel | Seasonal; weekly missions are reported | Several objectives and a season deadline |
| Shugo Festival | Event-dependent; not inherently open-Abyss PvP | Key reward depends on placement or event result | Only while the event is available | Event entry and performance |
| Arena and PvP commissions | Direct player combat | Check the current commission or arena reward | Activity and entry rules can change | Queue time, competition and possible entry costs |
| Rifts and open Abyss | Highest chance of enemy-player contact | Less predictable than duties and requests | Availability and reward rules are version-sensitive | Travel, combat, group support and unresolved death-loss rules |
The sources do not establish a reliable AP-per-hour comparison across these routes. Use the table to choose the right type of activity, not to infer a guaranteed hourly income.
Supply Requests: the repeatable foundation
Supply Requests convert eligible resources into AP. The AION 2 Help guide describes four categories: Emergency, Weekly, Season: Crafting and Season: Boss. Emergency and Weekly requests use farmable world items; the two seasonal categories use crafted equipment and boss-drop sets.
Emergency requests
Raid Relay reports Emergency Supply Requests paying 300–6,070 AP and refreshing daily. That range is a global-client version 27 report read October 11–13, 2026, not an official permanent rate. Inspect each request’s item list and payout before gathering. A low-value request may still be worthwhile if you already possess the items; it is less attractive if it requires a long detour or materials needed for a higher-value weekly turn-in.
Weekly requests
The same report lists 510–45,580 AP for Weekly Supply Requests, with a reported weekly refresh. Because the upper end can require more valuable materials, reserve a portion of your weekly gathering for the board rather than selling or crafting everything immediately. The client may present different values or limits after a patch.
Seasonal crafting and boss requests
Season: Crafting requests consume crafted equipment, while Season: Boss requests use boss-drop sets. Their season-length cadence makes them easy to overlook: check the seasonal panel at the start of a season, identify which items are actually requested, and decide whether the AP justifies the crafting materials or group time. Never assume that an item used in one season remains eligible in the next.
A safe turn-in checklist
- Open the request panel and read the exact item, quantity, AP and remaining count.
- Compare the requested item with your planned upgrades, crafting queue and market or storage value.
- Turn in only after confirming the request is active; a refresh can change the target.
- Reopen the panel after a turn-in to verify that AP and remaining capacity changed as expected.
Non-PvP AP sources
You do not have to rely exclusively on PvP wins. The cited guides report Daily Duties, quests, resource turn-ins, monsters and Shugo Festival activity as non-PvP or primarily PvE ways to earn AP. Availability varies by character and current client, so use the activity interface to confirm that the route is live.
Daily Duties
Daily Duties are the simplest baseline because the objective and reward are visible before you commit. Raid Relay reports 1,000 AP per Daily Duty and a limit of five per day for the server in its version 27 data review. The wording “for the server” matters: it describes a reported server allocation, not a personal guarantee that every character can claim five rewards. Check your own remaining count and payout.

Batch duties by zone. Complete objectives that overlap with your gathering, quest or monster route, and abandon a low-value detour when another available duty offers similar progress closer to your current location.
Command quests
Command quests add a repeatable weekly layer. Raid Relay reports a Verteron Command quest paying an average 1,340 AP, costing 15,000 Kinah and limited to 12 per week for the server. It also reports a Latesran Root Command quest paying 1,400–2,000 AP, costing 15,000 Kinah and limited to five per week for the server. These are reported averages and allocations from the October 11–13, 2026 global-client check, not universal guarantees. Compare the Kinah fee and travel time with the AP displayed in your quest panel before accepting.
Season Missions
Season Missions can be the largest non-PvP package when their objectives match content you already intend to play. Raid Relay reports up to 94,230 AP from weekly Season Missions in the same version 27 review. “Up to” indicates a ceiling for that reported set, not a fixed payout for every player. Open the season panel, note milestone requirements and expiry, and prioritize missions that overlap with Duties, requests or group activities.
Shugo Festival
Raid Relay reports an average 2,240 AP for a first-place Shugo Festival key reward and a reported limit of three per day. This is event-specific and placement-dependent: it is not a guaranteed 2,240 AP for every entry. If the event is available, include it after your baseline tasks, especially when you can participate without abandoning a high-value request.
Monster and resource routes
Monster farming and resource gathering are useful when their drops satisfy an active request or a seasonal objective. Farming without a matching turn-in has an uncertain AP return, because the guides do not provide a complete drop-to-AP or AP-per-hour table. Link your route to a visible request, quest or mission so every kill or gathering trip serves a defined objective.
Using PvP, arenas and the Abyss without wasting AP opportunities
AION 2 Help identifies PvP commissions, arena combat and PvP-themed events as AP sources. The open Abyss offers additional opportunities but also exposes you to enemy players. Treat these routes as supplements to predictable rewards unless your character is already equipped and supported for the risk.
Arena and PvP commissions
Arena combat concentrates player interaction into a known activity rather than an open-world patrol. Check the queue’s current reward, entry requirement and completion condition. PvP commissions can be efficient when they align with matches you would play anyway; they are inefficient if you repeatedly queue for a reward that your build cannot realistically secure or if the commission’s current payout is lower than an uncompleted Duty.

Rifts
Rifts sit between routine PvE and open-Abyss exposure. The AION 2 Guide farming overview places rifts and Abyss farming in the higher-risk category. Enter with a clear exit plan, a group when the current activity favors one, and enough consumables to avoid turning a small AP opportunity into a long recovery trip.

Open-Abyss farming
Open-Abyss activity can be attractive when you have strong gear, reliable group support and a tolerance for interruptions. Scout the route, watch the map and stop when the expected reward no longer compensates for repeated fights or travel. Do not carry an unverified AP balance into a dangerous area simply because a guide lists a theoretical reward.
Death-loss rules: verify instead of guessing
The available guides do not establish one definitive current global-client rule for what happens to AP on death. One guide warns that an open-Abyss death clears accumulated points, while another says global rules are unpublished or unconfirmed and recommends checking in-game. Because those statements conflict, do not plan around either outcome as fact.
Before an open-Abyss run, inspect the current death, loss and protection text in the client. If the tooltip is unclear, test only with an amount you can afford to risk or choose Duties, requests and other controlled activities. Recheck after major patches, seasonal changes and regional-client updates.
A session plan that adapts to your situation
Low-risk solo session
- Complete the available Daily Duties with overlapping objectives.
- Turn in Emergency requests using materials already in storage or gathered along the route.
- Work on Command quests and Season Missions that require ordinary PvE.
- Join Shugo Festival when it is active and its entry conditions fit your schedule.
- Stop after the predictable rewards if the client shows no attractive low-risk objective.
Weekly reset session
- Read every Weekly Supply Request and record the largest worthwhile payout.
- Reserve the required materials before selling or crafting them elsewhere.
- Accept weekly Command quests and map a route that minimizes repeated travel.
- Open Season Missions and select objectives with rewards you can finish before reset.
- Use arena or open-Abyss content only after the weekly baseline is secured.
Group-focused session
- Confirm the group’s objective: a boss request, a seasonal mission, a rift or an Abyss route.
- Check the activity’s displayed AP and current death wording before entering.
- Assign gathering, escort and lookout responsibilities where the route permits enemy contact.
- Bank or spend AP after the run instead of carrying a large unverified balance into another risk.
How to decide whether a route is efficient
Efficiency is not just the largest AP number. Score each available option against five questions:
- Enemy-player exposure: Can another group interrupt the activity, and can you leave safely?
- Reward certainty: Is the AP fixed in the activity panel, an average, a placement result or a possible drop?
- Refresh timing: Will delaying it lose a daily, weekly or seasonal opportunity?
- Resource and time cost: Does it consume Kinah, crafted gear, boss drops, entry items or a long travel loop?
- Character availability: Can this character currently access the activity, required zone, group or event?
Choose the route with the best combination for your constraint. A smaller guaranteed payout that fits a daily reset can be more efficient for a solo player than a larger theoretical reward requiring contested territory and a group.
Spending AP in the Abyss Store
Inspect the store after establishing your next progression target. Compare each purchase with the slot, skill or upgrade that currently limits your performance. The AION 2 Help store overview describes gear and other progression purchases, while Raid Relay recommends Stigma Shards as an early priority. That shard recommendation is one guide’s advice, not an official universal order.

- Recheck the store after balance or season updates; item availability and prices can change.
Common mistakes and fixes
Spending materials before reading the board
Problem: You craft or sell an item that a newly refreshed request needs. Fix: Check Emergency, Weekly and seasonal requests at the start of the session and reserve eligible materials.
Treating a reported average as a guaranteed payout
Problem: You plan around the 2,240 AP Shugo Festival figure or a Command-quest average as though every attempt pays that amount. Fix: Read whether the figure is an average, a range, a placement reward or a server allocation, then use the live value shown for your character.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
Ignoring weekly and seasonal expiry
Problem: Daily farming fills your time while a weekly mission or request expires unfinished. Fix: Reserve a reset-day block for weekly requests, Command quests and Season Missions before optional farming.
Assuming open-Abyss death behavior
Problem: You risk accumulated AP based on an unverified guide statement. Fix: Read the current client tooltip and use a controlled route until the rule is clear.
Chasing AP per hour without a supported baseline
Problem: You compare routes using invented or outdated hourly figures. Fix: Track your own session time and the AP actually displayed, while remembering that group composition, interruptions, server allocation and patch version affect the result.
What the reported numbers mean
For planning context, the following figures come from Raid Relay’s global-client version 27 review, read October 11–13, 2026. The site says it checked some mechanics in-game on its own characters, but it is still a third-party guide rather than an official publisher statistics page.

Best Value
Quick pre-run checklist
- Have I opened Daily Duties and noted the actual AP reward and remaining count?
- Which Emergency, Weekly or seasonal request is active right now?
- Will this route consume materials, Kinah or boss drops needed elsewhere?
- Which weekly or seasonal objective expires first?
- Is the event or arena currently available to this character?
- What does the current client say about death and AP loss in the area I am entering?
- What store purchase am I saving for?
Bottom line for an efficient routine
Start with the AP that is visible, repeatable and least exposed to enemy players: Daily Duties and matching Supply Requests. Add weekly Command quests, Season Missions and available events before their limits expire. Use arena, rifts and the open Abyss as deliberate supplements chosen for your build and risk tolerance, not as mandatory farming. Since reward tables, caps and death behavior are not fully established by official current documentation, verify every payout and rule in the live Aion 2 interface before committing valuable materials or accumulated points.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to do PvP in the Abyss to earn Abyss Points?
No. The cited guides report Daily Duties, Supply Requests, quests, monsters, resource turn-ins and Shugo Festival activity as non-PvP or primarily PvE routes. Confirm that each activity is currently available and check its live AP reward.
What should I do first each day?
Open Daily Duties and Supply Requests, note the displayed rewards and limits, then complete duties and turn in matching Emergency requests. Do not spend materials until you have checked the active request board.

No. The figures are third-party reports from global-client version 27 data read October 11–13, 2026. They include averages, ranges, event-placement rewards and server allocations. Your current client display is the value to use.
Can I lose AP when I die in the open Abyss?
The available guides conflict: one warns of accumulated-point loss, while another says the current global rule is not published or confirmed. Read the death tooltip in your client and avoid risking a large balance until the rule is clear.
Should I always buy Stigma Shards first?
Not automatically. One guide recommends them, but that is not an official universal priority. Compare the shard purchase with your build’s immediate gear, skill and progression needs.
