Estimate a 24/7 channel’s Super Chat income from its own YouTube Analytics data: divide reported Supers revenue by the eligible live hours in the same period, then multiply by forecast hours only if you expect similar audience behavior. There is no reliable universal Super Chat rate per hour for continuous streams.
Start with creator revenue, not viewer spending
For an estimate of what the channel earns, use the Supers revenue reported in the channel’s YouTube Analytics. Viewer purchase totals are not the same as creator proceeds: YouTube’s help page says creators receive 70% of Supers revenue confirmed by Google, calculated after local sales tax and iOS App Store fees. YouTube says it currently covers transaction costs, including credit-card fees. Because deductions and contract terms affect the calculation, do not apply a generic percentage to viewer spending and label the result creator income. Use the channel’s reported amount as the starting figure, and keep the reporting basis consistent when comparing periods.

Find the channel’s Supers revenue and live hours
- Choose a historical period. Select a date range long enough to include the kinds of days and time slots you intend to forecast. Note its start and end dates.
- Find Supers revenue. In YouTube Studio, open Analytics → Revenue → How you make money and review the Supers reporting for that period. Interface labels may change; YouTube’s Super Chat and Super Stickers help page describes where to view Supers revenue.
- Record actual eligible live hours. Use the hours during which the stream was live and Supers could be purchased, rather than assuming the channel ran continuously for every hour in the date range. Exclude outages and periods when the video or chat was ineligible.
- Keep the basis aligned. Pair the Analytics revenue with the hours from the same period. Do not compare one month’s revenue with a different month’s stream hours.
YouTube’s live metrics documentation notes that video-level metrics become available within minutes after a stream ends, but interaction and revenue reports are unavailable when the report is filtered to Live alone. Use an Analytics view that includes Live & on demand where necessary, and confirm the current reporting options in Studio. See YouTube’s live stream metrics guidance.

Calculate an observed rate and a simple forecast
Use this calculation for the observed creator-reported rate:
Observed Supers revenue per live hour = period’s reported Supers revenue ÷ eligible live hours in that period

Then calculate a baseline forecast:
Baseline forecast = observed revenue per live hour × forecast eligible live hours
A continuous schedule has 24 stream hours per day, but multiplying one observed hourly rate across every future hour assumes that purchase behavior stays similar. Treat the result as a scenario, not a promise or a guaranteed rate. A historical period with a special event, an outage, a different schedule, or an unusually active audience may not represent the next period.

Improve the estimate by matching time slots and days
A single average can conceal large differences between quiet overnight hours and busier periods. If the channel has enough history, group observations into comparable blocks—such as the same hours on weekdays and weekends—and calculate each block’s own rate.
- For each block, divide its reported Supers revenue by its eligible live hours.
- Multiply that rate by the number of matching hours planned in the forecast period.
- Add the block forecasts to get the total.
This is a channel-specific modeling approach, not an official YouTube prediction formula. Keep the blocks comparable in duration and schedule, and avoid treating a short, unusually active period as a stable rate.

Present a range without inventing a benchmark
YouTube’s reviewed official guidance does not establish a typical Super Chat income per hour for 24/7 channels or a standard forecast range. Build a range from the channel’s own lower, median, and higher observed periods instead. State the duration of each period, the eligible live hours, whether the figure is creator-reported Analytics revenue or viewer spend, and the assumptions about future hours and audience behavior.
For example, a report can show three scenarios calculated from the channel’s own comparable historical blocks, without suggesting that any scenario is typical for other channels. If there is too little comparable data, say so and treat the estimate as especially uncertain rather than filling the gap with a platform-wide average.

Check eligibility before counting hours
A 24-hour broadcast does not make every video or viewer eligible for Supers. Availability depends on creator and location requirements, applicable terms, the stream and video’s status, and chat settings. YouTube lists Super Chat and Stickers as unavailable on age-restricted, unlisted, private, Made for Kids, and Giving fundraiser videos, and when live chat or comments are disabled.
Before treating hours as eligible, check the current requirements in YouTube Studio’s Earn section and YouTube’s Super Chat and Super Stickers eligibility, availability and policies. Requirements and country availability can change, so rely on the current official page rather than an old location list.
Review the forecast after the period ends
After the forecast period, compare the estimate with Supers revenue in Analytics using the same reporting view and date basis. Note whether differences came from changed hours, eligibility, audience timing, or unusually strong or weak purchase activity. Then update the relevant time-slot rates and assumptions. This makes the next forecast a reflection of the channel’s latest observed behavior, not a claim that revenue is fixed.
