PDNob PDF Editor lists tools for editing text and images and inserting, extracting, or replacing PDF pages. Choose the type of change you need, make it in the editor, then inspect the saved file—especially if the document is scanned or you are using the trial.
Before you begin: check compatibility and make a working copy
Tenorshare’s PDNob user guide, last updated July 28, 2026, says the editor supports Windows 10 64-bit and newer and macOS 10.15 and above. It lists minimum disk space of 2.5 GB on Windows and 5 GB on Mac, and recommends at least 1 GB of memory. Requirements can change, so check the current technical specifications before installing. The guide says registration and activation require an internet connection; it does not establish whether editing works offline afterward.

Keep an untouched copy of the original PDF. Editing can change text flow, image placement, or page order, so compare the exported document with the original before sharing it.

How to edit existing text
PDNob’s official feature information lists text editing and says the editor can adjust text spacing, line height, fonts, and styles. The exact control names and steps may vary by installed build, so use the current application’s editing controls rather than relying on a fixed menu sequence.

- Open the PDF in PDNob and choose its text-editing function.
- Select the text you need to change, then make the correction or adjust its formatting.
- Inspect the surrounding lines and page layout. Check that the change has not caused unexpected spacing, overlap, or text reflow.
- Save or export the edited PDF, then open the output and confirm the correction appears as intended.
How to change or replace an image
The PDNob guide describes cropping, replacing, and optimizing images. Select the relevant image using the editor’s image controls, make the required change, and check the result at normal viewing size. PDF images can behave differently depending on how the document was created, so verify the crop, placement, and visual quality after export.
- Open the PDF and select the image-editing function.
- Select the image you want to adjust or replace, then apply the available edit.
- Check its crop and position in relation to nearby text and page edges.
- Save or export, then inspect the resulting PDF rather than assuming the on-screen edit is the final output.
How to insert, extract, or replace pages
PDNob’s official feature page lists page insertion, extraction, and replacement. The product page also lists other page-management functions, including rearranging, merging, splitting, and rotating PDFs; availability can differ between desktop and mobile editions. Check the feature information for your platform before relying on a particular operation.

- Extract: Create a separate file from the pages you need and check that the extracted range is complete.
- Replace: Swap a page and inspect the pages immediately before and after it to confirm the sequence remains correct.
For exact controls, follow the labels in your installed version of PDNob; the official feature listing confirms these operations but does not provide a dependable click-by-click sequence for every current build.
Scanned PDFs: use OCR, then proofread
If a PDF is a scan or consists of page images, its text may not be selectable as editable text. OCR—optical character recognition—is the relevant feature for recognizing text in those images. Run OCR before attempting text edits, then carefully proofread the recognized text: OCR can misread characters, punctuation, or formatting. Tenorshare advertises 99% OCR accuracy on its product materials, but that is a vendor claim, not an independently validated result for your particular file.

Save and check the exported PDF
After editing, open the exported file and check that the text, images, and page sequence are correct. If you are using the trial, verify watermark status before distributing the file: Tenorshare’s purchase FAQ says the first 20 exported files are watermark-free, while later trial exports may be restricted. The FAQ also lists limits on conversion, OCR, batch processing, and cloud storage; consult the current purchase FAQ for the terms that apply to your account.
Device and platform notes
Tenorshare says an individual account can be active on up to two devices at once under the Windows/Mac combinations described in its purchase FAQ. A third sign-in removes the first device. PDNob is listed for Windows, Mac, and iPhone, but the available features are not necessarily identical across editions; check the official PDNob product page for platform-specific availability.
