What you can earn for free
One Piece Bounty Rush has two different progression resources that are often confused:

The game is free to download but also sells paid items and loot-box-style Scouts. Buying Rainbow Diamonds is a purchase, not an earning method. Keep paid transactions separate from the free routes below when you plan a budget or track your progress.

How to find every current free Rainbow Diamond source
Login bonuses
Log in during the period shown on the current login campaign. A login reward may be delivered to the Gift Box instead of appearing immediately on your balance. Open that box and claim the item before its stated expiration date. Login schedules are campaign-specific; there is no permanent, universal daily amount that applies to every account.

Regular and event missions
Open the mission menu and review both the ordinary objectives and the Events area. Event missions are where limited campaigns normally list their conditions, progress counters, and Rainbow Diamond prizes. Read the complete objective and its end date before spending stamina, entering battles, or claiming a result. Some missions require you to claim the completed reward manually, while others send it to the Gift Box.
Do not rely on screenshots or schedules from a previous celebration. The developers can change the objective, reward amount, availability window, and claim deadline for each campaign. The in-game notice is the controlling information for your account.
Event notices and campaign rewards
Read the announcement attached to a current event, then follow its link or button into the relevant mission screen. Announcements often explain whether a reward is immediate, delivered later, or available only after a milestone. If an announcement says that dates and details are shown in-game, treat those in-game dates as authoritative.

Free Web Store offers
The official Web Store has, at times, displayed free Rainbow Diamond listings alongside paid offers. During the period covered by the available store listing, it showed a free 50 Rainbow Diamond offer and a monthly free 5 Rainbow Diamond offer. Those were live offers, not a guaranteed permanent allowance: stock, limits, eligibility, country availability, and dates can change. Sign in to the official store for your region and verify the offer before counting it toward a savings plan.
To receive store items, the store instructions require you to link the game account to a Bandai Namco ID, sign in to the store with that same ID, and open the game’s Home screen. Paid Rainbow Diamonds are added directly to the balance; other delivered items may arrive in the Gift Box. The store is unavailable in some countries, and discounts can differ by region.
Claim rewards correctly from the Gift Box
- Open Gift Box from the game’s home interface.
- Look for the login, mission, event, or store delivery. Check the item description and expiration date before pressing claim.
- If you use both mobile and Steam with Multi-Login, select the platform that should receive Rainbow Diamonds before confirming. The destination matters because the balances are separate.
- Claim the item and return to the home screen. If the balance or item does not update, close and restart the app, then check the Gift Box again.
- Keep a note of any unclaimed item with a short expiry. A reward that remains in the box past its deadline may no longer be recoverable.
A delayed delivery does not necessarily mean the mission failed. Refreshing or restarting the app is an explicit troubleshooting step for items that have been sent but are not yet visible.

How to collect Character Fragments
Earn fragments during battle
The official game listing documents Character Fragments as a battle reward. Play the battles that currently show fragments in their reward information, and inspect the post-battle results rather than assuming every mode pays the same material. The exact character, quantity, and availability can depend on the active content and your account.

If a particular character is your goal, confirm that the displayed fragment belongs to that character before committing time.
Exchange limited-time event items
Some campaigns award a temporary event currency or item that can be exchanged for Character Fragments. Open the event exchange screen, read the inventory and purchase limits, and check the event’s closing date. Spend the temporary item before the exchange expires; it may not carry into a later campaign.
Event exchanges are not the same as a standing fragment shop. A campaign can change the fragment type, cost, limit, or exchange period, so follow the current event notice and in-game item description.
Convert duplicate Scout characters
When a Scout gives you a character you already own, the duplicate is converted into Character Fragments according to the game’s duplicate-reward rules. This is a by-product of a Scout, not a free way to choose any fragment you want. Scout results are random, and the Scout itself may use Rainbow Diamonds or another paid resource.
At the character’s maximum grade, a duplicate can instead be exchanged for Cola. Do not assume that every duplicate will continue producing ordinary Character Fragments after max grade; check the result shown on the Scout or character screen.

Do not confuse ordinary fragments with 4★ Crystal Fragments
Some store bundles and event descriptions use the separate name 4★ Crystal Fragments. They are not automatically interchangeable with ordinary Character Fragments. Read the exact item name, star designation, and character-screen requirement before buying, exchanging, or planning an upgrade.

There is no documented conversion that turns ordinary Character Fragments into Rainbow Diamonds, or Rainbow Diamonds into a chosen character’s fragments. Save each resource for the screen that accepts it.
Using the same account on mobile and Steam
Multi-Login shares most game data between the linked mobile and Steam versions, including characters and many items. It does not merge every account value: Rainbow Diamond balances, league rank, and ranking information remain separate by platform.
Choosing where a Rainbow Diamond reward goes
- Configure Multi-Login and sign in to the same game account on both versions.
- Open the Gift Box on the version where the reward is visible.
- When the claim screen offers a platform choice, select mobile or Steam deliberately.
- Confirm the claim, then check the Rainbow Diamond balance on that selected platform.
A claim sent to Steam will not raise the mobile Rainbow Diamond balance, and the reverse is also true. This is the most common source of a seemingly missing free reward when a player switches devices.
What remains shared
Your linked characters and many ordinary items are generally available on both versions under Multi-Login. The platform-specific treatment is chiefly important for Rainbow Diamonds and league/ranking data, so verify the resource’s platform label before every claim.

A paid pack can contain Rainbow Diamonds, Character Fragments, or 4★ Crystal Fragments, but the purchase does not prove that the resources are interchangeable. Check the item list and delivery destination at checkout.

Choosing the right route for your goal
Use the route that matches the resource you actually need. If you are saving for a Scout, prioritize the current login calendar, mission milestones, event notices, and any eligible free Web Store listing. These are campaign rewards, so they may disappear when the event closes. If you are developing a specific fighter, battle results and a matching event exchange are more relevant than a Rainbow Diamond balance.

Read the reward panel before investing time, and record the displayed quantity rather than relying on a guide’s historical total.
Keep three questions separate: Is the item free? Which resource is it? Where will it be credited? A free event reward can still be sent to the Gift Box, a paid item can be credited directly, and a Rainbow Diamond claim can be assigned to only one platform when mobile and Steam are linked.
Checks to make before an event ends
- Review the event notice for the final date and time, then open the linked mission or exchange screen.
- Claim completed mission rewards instead of assuming completion automatically credits them.
- Spend temporary event items on the listed Character Fragments before the exchange closes.
- Open the Gift Box and sort through recent deliveries, checking each item’s expiry.
- If a Web Store offer is free, confirm the account link, country eligibility, limit, and current listing before treating it as available.
- On Multi-Login, decide whether mobile or Steam should receive Rainbow Diamonds before pressing the final claim button.
This short check prevents two common losses: allowing a reward to expire in the Gift Box and sending a platform-specific currency to the wrong balance.

The reward is not visible after completing a mission
- Reopen the mission and verify that the objective shows as completed rather than merely in progress.
- Press the separate claim button if one is present.
- Check the Gift Box, including any filtered or older pages.
- Restart the app and return to the Home screen to trigger a delayed delivery.
- Check the mission’s expiration date; an expired campaign may remove its claim option.
The balance is wrong after switching devices
- Confirm that both devices use the intended linked account.
- Check whether the claim was assigned to mobile or Steam in the Gift Box.
- Look at the balance on that same platform; Rainbow Diamonds are not pooled.
- Do not make a second purchase while diagnosing a delayed delivery, since it can make the transaction history harder to read.
A store item did not arrive
- Verify that the store account and game account use the same Bandai Namco ID.
- Open the game and remain on the Home screen so the delivery can synchronize.
- Check the direct Rainbow Diamond balance as well as the Gift Box, because paid Rainbow Diamonds can be credited directly while other items may be boxed.
- Confirm that the store is supported in your country and that the regional listing was still active.
The fragment count did not increase
- Read the post-battle result and confirm that it was the intended character’s fragment.
- Check whether the event exchange awarded a differently named item, such as 4★ Crystal Fragments.
- For a duplicate Scout, inspect the conversion result; a max-grade duplicate may have produced Cola instead.
- Refresh the character screen after claiming the reward.

Use a short routine whenever you play:
- Start with the notice board and Missions > Events to see what expires soon.
- Record only rewards currently displayed for your account, not a number copied from an older guide.
