Windows
Windows is the game’s native and optimized platform. The project’s installer configuration distinguishes the Kanto and Hoenn repositories and their executable names: the Kanto build uses Game.exe, while the Hoenn build uses InfiniteFusion2.exe. The README also directs players to launch Game.exe for the Hoenn build, so follow the instructions packaged with the specific release you download rather than assuming the executable name is the same across builds. The installer configuration is available in the InfiniteFusion GitHub organization.

Follow the latest official download-post instructions for installation and updates. Confirm whether the file is for Kanto or Hoenn before launching it.
Android
Android play requires JoiPlay, an RPG Maker emulator, along with the compatible setup described in the project’s Android setup guide. Obtain the matching game archive through the official download channels, then use the current JoiPlay and plugin directions provided there. Older mobile instructions may no longer match the latest release.
A staff-relayed notice announced mobile version 6.8.2 through the official Discord downloads channel and said its preloaded files included an updated sprite pack. That is a dated release notice, not a guarantee that 6.8.2 remains the latest file. Check the current Discord post for the version and matching archive available when you install.

macOS and Linux
The game is not designed to run natively on macOS or Linux. The project README names Wine or Whiskey as possible compatibility layers and gives launch-wine.sh as a launch option after Wine is set up. These are workarounds, not a promise that every system or configuration will work. Use the current platform-specific guide linked from the download post.
Steam Deck
Community guidance describes a Steam Deck setup route, but this is not the same as native platform support. The guidance recommends installing the game on the main drive because SD-card installs perform slowly. Check the linked community instructions for current setup details before proceeding.

Infinite Fusion announcements and downloadable files do not always update at the same time. The community announced version 6.8 with Hoenn Pokémon and a transfer box, while commenters later reported links leading to older or different files. A subsequent staff-relayed notice announced mobile version 6.8.2. These notices do not establish which version is current now, so verify the release file and platform instructions in the official downloads channel immediately before installation.

Build matters as well as version: the official installer configuration has separate Kanto and Hoenn repositories and executable names. Make sure the release you select matches the build covered by its instructions.
Do you need a sprite pack?
No. The community download guide says sprite packs are not required to start playing. Use the official guide if you want to add optional sprite files, but do not delay installation just to find one.
