Netflix games install as separate apps from Google Play or Apple’s App Store. Find a game in Netflix and tap its store link, or search for it directly in your device’s app store. Before deleting a game to free space, check whether it supports cloud saves: removing a game can permanently erase progress stored only on your device.
What you need before downloading
Netflix requires an active membership, an internet connection for downloading and installing, enough free device storage, and a compatible phone or tablet. Requirements vary by game, and Netflix does not specify one storage amount that applies to every title. Check the individual game’s support page for its device and operating-system requirements.

How to download Netflix games
Android phone or tablet
- Open Netflix and find the Mobile Games row or Games shortcut. Select a game and tap Get Game. Netflix opens the game’s listing in Google Play.
- In Google Play, tap Install. Accept any permissions requested by the game.
- When installation finishes, tap Open, or launch the game later from its app icon or your app drawer. If prompted, sign in to Netflix and select a profile.

iPhone or iPad
- In Netflix, find the Mobile Games row and choose a game. Tap Get Game or Play Game to open its App Store listing.
- In the App Store, tap Get or the cloud-download icon, then authenticate if requested.
- Open the game after it installs. Sign in to Netflix and choose a profile if prompted. You can launch it again from Netflix’s Mobile Games row or from your device’s Home Screen.

Why a Netflix game may be missing or fail to install
- The Games row or shortcut is missing: Update the Netflix app, then check again.
- The title is not visible on your profile: A profile’s maturity setting may be lower than the game’s rating. A game can also be unavailable because the device is incompatible.
- The download will not start or finish: Check your internet connection and available device storage. There is no universal storage-size requirement; needs differ by game and device.
- Your operating system may not meet the game’s requirement: Check that game’s Netflix support page. Netflix’s general recommendations are Android 9, iOS 17, and iPadOS 17 or later, but a particular title may have different requirements.
How to delete a Netflix game
Netflix games are separate apps. Netflix says you cannot delete them from inside the Netflix app; uninstall them through the relevant app store or device controls.

Android
- Open Google Play and search for the game.
- Open its listing and tap Uninstall.
- Confirm if prompted.

- Touch and hold the game’s icon on the Home Screen.
- Tap Remove App, then choose Delete App.
- Confirm by tapping Delete.
Will deleting a Netflix game erase your progress?
It can. Netflix game progress may be saved to your Netflix profile through cloud saves or stored locally on the device. With cloud saves, progress is associated with the profile. If a game does not support cloud saves, uninstalling it, clearing its data, or deleting the profile may permanently erase local progress.

- Open Settings > Apps > App Info.
- Select the game, then open Storage.
- Tap Clear cache, then restart the game.
Android menu names and locations vary by device. Choose Clear cache, not Clear data, as a routine troubleshooting step: clearing game data may delete progress saved only on the device. See Netflix’s performance and storage guidance.
