Download it in Apple Music without falling back to AAC

- Open Audio Quality settings. In Apple Music, go to the app’s settings and select Audio Quality.

Lossless describes how the digital audio is compressed: decoding restores the data in the encoded source. It does not guarantee that every service uses the same master, channel layout or resolution. Why 44.1 kHz is not a defective hi-res version

Bluetooth can still be convenient for casual listening, but it is not a reason to purchase a DAC or an excuse to convert the source to a lossy format.
A DAC cannot restore quality already removed by an MP3 or AAC encode. Consider one only if your device cannot natively output the chosen rate, you need a reliable wired connection, or you want a dedicated listening setup.
Prepare for travel and offline listening

Qobuz does not show FLAC
Check whether the page is offering streaming, app import or a paid download. Qobuz documents FLAC, ALAC, WAV and AIFF download formats, but the choices shown can depend on the release page, country and current store availability. If no paid download is offered in your market, do not substitute an unofficial file.
The downloaded file plays as AAC
Confirm that you downloaded the Qobuz purchase or that Apple Music’s Lossless setting was enabled before the download. Apple Music requires deleting and redownloading an earlier lower-quality copy. Apple Music uses too much storage
